제1도 및 제2도는 본 발명의 일실시예를 설명하기 위한 것으로,
제1도는 LCD의 요부 단면도,
제2도는 절연막과 투명전극의 반사율을 비교한 특성도.

Claims (2)

  1. 한쌍의 유리기판의 대향면에 각각 투명전극에 패턴형성하고, 이들의 투면전극을 각각 배향막으로 피복함과 동시에, 서로 대향하는 상기 한쌍의 유리기판의 사이에 액정을 봉입하여 이루어진 액정표시 소자에 있어서, 한쪽의 유리기판의 투명전극과 배향막과의 사이에 투명전극에 비하여 굴절율이 큰 단결정체로 이루어진 제1의 절연막을 개재시켜 설치함과 동시에 다른쪽의 유리기판의 투명전극과 배향막과의 사이에 투명전극에 비하여 굴절율이 작은 단결정체로 이루어진 제2의 절연막을 개재시켜 설치하고, 또 이들 제1 및 제2의 절연막의 굴절율이 평균치가 투명전극의 굴절율과 대략 동등하게 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시소자.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제1의 절연막이 ZrO2로 이루어지고, 제2의 절연막이 SiO2로 이루어진 액정표시 소자.
