Abstract

여러 가지 포맷을 갖는 텔레비전 방송 신호를 수신 및 디스플레이하는 텔레비전 시스템(100) 및 디스플레이 방법에 대해 개시되어 있다. 텔레비전 시스템 (100)은 공통 디스플레이 디바이스 상에 디스플레이하기 위해 여러 가지의 수신된 화상 포맷을 재구성한다. 화상은 데이타가 텔레비전(100)에 의해 샘플되는 비율을 바꾸므로써 수평적으로 재구성된다. 화상은 한 화상의 라인 수를 바꾸는 수직 스케일링 알고리즘을 사용해서 수직적으로 재구성된다. 포맷 탐지는 텔레비전 방송 신호의 수직 간격에 포함된 정보를 디코딩하거나 또는 각 프레임에 있는 라인수를 계수하므로써 자동 수행될 수 있다. 입력 포맷은 관찰자에 의해 지시될 수 있다.

Claims (12)

  1. 텔레비전 방송 신호를 다포맷으로 수신 및 디스플레이하는 디포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템에 있어서, 상기 텔레비전 방송 신호음 수신하고 방송 포맷을 갖는 제1영상 신호를 출력하는 튜너 회로; 다수의 방송 포맷을 갖는 영상 신호를 수신된 텔레비전 신호의 방송 포맷에 따라 처리하는 디지탈 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기로서, 상기 제1영상 신호를 상기 튜너 회로로부터 수신 및 처리하고 제2영상 신호를 생성하는 적어도 하나의 디지탈 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기 회로; 및 상기 제2영상 신호를 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기로부터 수신하고 상기 제2영상 신호의 시각적 표현을 생성하는 적어도 하나의 디스플레이 디바이스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 영상 신호를 상기 튜너 회로로부터 수신 및 디지탈화하고 상기 디지탈화 영상 신호를 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기로 출력하는 아날로그 대 디지탈 변환기(A/D converter)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 튜너와 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기 사이의 상기 영상 신호 경로에 있으며, 상기 영상 신호의 버스트를 수신하고 상기 영상 신호를 일정 비율로 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기로 출력하는 적어도 하나의 필드 확산기(field spreader)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 제2텔레비전 방송 신호를 수신 및 1/10화(decimate)하고 1/10화 영상 신호를 상기 튜너와 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기 사이의 상기 영상 신호 경로로 주입하는 제2튜너 회로를 더 포함하며, 상기 영상 신호와 상기 1/10화 영상 신호는 상기 디스플레이 디바이스에 의해 동시에 디스플레이되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기 회로는 다른 영상 신호를 수신하는 다른 영상 입력부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 튜너, 상기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기 및 상기 디스플레이 디바이스의 동작을 동기화하는 타이밍 제어기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 컬러 휠 및 모터(color wheel and motor)를 더 포함하며, 상기 타이밍 제어기는 상기 디스플레이 디바이스와 컬러 휠 및 모터의 동작을 동기화자는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2영상 신호의 경로에 있으며, 상기 제2영상 신호를 상기기 프로그램 가능 신호 처리기로부터 수신하고 리포맷된 제2영상 신호를 상기 디스플레이 디바이스로 출력하는 적어도 하나의 데이타 리포매터(reformatter)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 영상 신호를 수신하고 상기 영상 신호의 포맷을 결정하는 포맷 탐지 회로를 더 포함하며, 상기 포맷 탐지 회로는 상기 수신된 영상 신호의 포맷을 상기 디지탈 신호 처리기로 전달하므로써 상기 디지탈 신호 처리기에 의해 수행될 처리를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다포맷 텔레비전 수신기 시스템.
  10. 방송 포맷을 갖는 텔레비전 방송 신호를 수신하는 단계; 상기 텔레비넌 방송 신호의 상기 방송 포맷을 결정하는 단계; 상기 수신된 텔레비전 방송 신호의 상기 방송 포맷에 따라 상기 수신된 텔레비전 방송 신호를 선택적으로 처리하는 단계; 및 상기 처리된 방송 신호를 디스플레이 디바이스 상에 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 텔레비전 화상의 생성 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 제2텔레비전 방송 신호를 수신하는 단계; 상기 제2텔레비전 방송 신호를 1/10화하는 단계; 및 상기 1/10화된 제2텔레비전 방송 신호와 상기 처리된 방송 신호 둘다를 디스플레이 디바이스 상에 동시에 디스플레이하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 텔레비전 화상의 생성 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 결정 단계는 상기 수신된 텔레비전 방송 신호의 상기 수직 간격에서 부호화된 정보를 탐지하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 텔레비전 화상의 생성 방법.
