Abstract

본원은 자기적 감응물질 및 분산제로 구성되고 최소한 90%의 입도가 약 2 내지 약 10nm인 입자들에 관한다. 본원은 또한 자기적 감응물질을 분산제와 혼합하여 혼합물을 만들고 자기적 감응물질-분산제 입자를 형성하기에 적당한 조건하에서 일정시간동안 이 혼합물을 염기와 접촉시키는 것으로 구성되는 상기 입자들 을 제조하는 방법에 관한다. 바람직한 구체예에서, 자기적 감응물질은 마그네타이트이고 분산제는 덱스트란, 염기는 암모늄 하이드록사이드이다. 또다른 바람직한 구체예에서는, 상기 혼합물은 겔상에 현탁된다. 본원은 또 생리적으로 용인할만한 담체내에 현탁 또는 분산시킨 상기 입자들을 조영유효량 포유동물에 투여하여 그 포유동물의 NMR 이미지를 얻는 것으로 구성되는 진단 방법에 관한다.

Claims (12)

  1. 자기적 감응물질 및 분산제로 구성되고 최소한 90%의 입도가 약 2 내지 약 10nm인 입자들.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 자기적 감응물질이 마그네타이트인 입자들.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 분산제가 덱스트란인 입자들.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 최소한 90%의 입도가 약 2 내지 약 5nm인 입자들.
  5. 자기적 감응물질을 분산제와 혼합하여 혼합물을 만들고 자기적 감응물질-분산제 입자를 형성하기에 적당한 조건하에 일정시간동안 이 혼합물을 염기와 접촉시키는 것으로 구성되는 제 1 항의 입자들을 제조하는 방법.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 자기적 감응물질이 마그네타이트인 방법.
  7. 제 5 항에 있어서, 분산제가 덱스트란인 방법.
  8. 제 5 항에 있어서, 입자들의 입도 범위가 막 2 내지 약 10nm인 방법.
  9. 제 5 항에 있어서, 첫번째 혼합물을 겔상에 현탁시키는 방법.
  10. 제 9 항에 있어서, 겔상이 젤라틴으로 형성된 방법.
  11. 제 9 항에 있어서, 겔상이 폴리비닐 알콜로 형성된 방법.
  12. 생리적으로 용인할만한 담체내에 현탁 또는 분산시킨 제 1항의 입자들을 조영유효량 포유동물에 투여하여 그 포유동물의 NMR 이미지를 얻는 것으로 구성되는 진단 방법.
