Abstract

본 발명은 방향족 할로니트로 화합물을 방향족 할로아민으로 선택적으로 가수분해시키기 위한 개질되고 지지된 귀금속 촉매에 관한 것이다. 당해 지지체는 활성탄소로 이루어진다. 활성 성분은 구리로 개질시킨 백금이다. 당해 신규의 촉매는 선택도가 우수하고 수율이 높다는 것을 특징으로 한다.

방향족 할로니트로 화합물을 방향족 할로아민으로 선택적으로 수소화시키기 위한 촉매 및 이의 제조방법

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 촉매를 사용한 3, 4-디클로로니트로벤젠(3,4-DCNB)의 저압 수소와 반응에 관하여 도시한 것이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 백금이 활성 탄소 지지체를 기준으로 하여 0.1 내지 5.0중량%, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 3.5중량%의 양으로 존재하고, 동시에 존재하는 백금과 구리간의 중량비가 5:1 내지 20:1, 바람직하게는 10:1이며, 백금과 구리가 활성 탄소 위에 섬세하게 분포되어 있음을 특징으로 하는, 탄소 지지체, 활성 성분으로서의 백금 및 개질제로서의 구리를 함유하는, 방향족 할로니트로 화합물을 방향족 할로아민으로 선택적으로 가수분해시키기 위한 개질된 귀금속 지지체 촉매.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 활성 탄소의 평균 입자 직경이 15 내지 30㎛이고, 이의 비표면적이 500㎡/g이상이며, 이의 총 기공 용적이 0.5㎖/g 이상임을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
  3. 귀금속 성분과 개질용 금속의 화합물을 이의 용이하게 가용성인 화합물의 수용액으로부터 침전시킴으로써 이들 화합물을 수중 현탁된 지지체 물질에 함침시키고, 환원시킨 다음, 여과하고, 촉매를 세척함을 포함하는 제1항 또는 제2항의 지지된 귀금속 촉매의 제조방법에 있어서, 수성 현탁액이 제2항에 따르는 촉매 지지체로서 활성탄소를 5 내지 30중량% 함유하고; 귀금속 성분이 백금이고 개질용 금속이 구리이며, 귀금속 성분과 개질용 금속은 수용성 백금 화합물, 바람직하게는 헥사클로로플래틴산 및 수용성 구리염, 바람직하게는 구리 아세테이트의 용액 형태로 현탁액에 첨가되며(여기서, 용액중의 백금 금속과 구리 금속의 함량은 사용된 활성 탄소의 목적하는 충전량에 상응하도록 조절된다), 현탁액은 거의 수불용성인 화합물 형태의 염기(예 : 탄산나트륨 또는 수산화나트륨)를 첨가하여 백금과 구리를 활성 탄소 위에 동시에 침착시키기 전에 수용성 백금과 구리 화합물의 용액과 함께 교반되면서 70℃ 내지 100℃로 가열되고, 이어서 환원제(예 : 하이드라진, 나트륨 포르메이트, 나트륨 보라네이트 또는 포름알데히드, 바람직하게는 포름알데히드)를 첨가함으로써 동일한 온도에서 환원됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
