Abstract

2갭형 구성의 MR/유도형 일체구성의 복합형 박막자기헤드에 있어서, 불핀요한 기록자계누출을 방지하여 기록 트랙폭을 제어하여 재생시의 SN 비의 향상을 도모하는 동시에, 고트랙밀도화 즉 고기록밀도화를 도모한다.
자기저항효과소자(MR 소자) (4)를 가지고 이루어지는 박막자기저항효과형 재생헤드와 유도형 기록헤드가 적층되어서, 각각 재생갭 g1과 기록갭이 g2이 각각 별도로 형성되어 이루어지는 복합형 박막 자기헤드에 있어서, 기록갭 g2에 근접하여 기록트랙폭규제용 자성층(8)을 배설하여 구성한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 자기저항효과소자를 가지고 이루어지는 박막자기저항효과형 재생헤드와 유도형 기록헤드가 적층되어서, 각각 재생갭과 기록갭이 각각 별도로 형성되어 이루어지는 복합형 박막자기헤드에 있어서, 상기 기록갭에 근접하여 기록트랙폭규제용 자성층이 배설되어 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합형 박막자기헤드.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 자기저항효과소자가 자기기록매체와의 대향면에 대하여 수직의 방향으로 연재하도록 배설되어 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합형 박막자기헤드.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 자기저항효과소자가 비자성중간층을 통하여 최소한 한쪽이 자기저항효과를 가진 자성층이 적층되어 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합형 박막자기헤드.
