Abstract
본 발명은 방사선조사된 핵연료로부터 방사성 루테늄을 회수하는데에 특히 유용한, 루테늄 기체를 폴리비닐피리딘에 포획하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 방법은 흡착제에 루테늄을 고착 시키기 위해 기체상의 루테늄을 함유한 기체를 비닐피리딘 중합체와 공중합체를 함유한 흡착제(116)와 접촉시키는 과정을 포함한다. 기체는 루테늄을 포함한 핵분열생성물 농축액에서 비롯된 증기들로 이루어져 있으며 루테늄을 휘발시키기 위해 산화제의 존재하에서 (31에서)가열되어진다.

제2도는 제1도의 장치의 흡착제에 고착된 루테늄을 수용액에서 회수하기 위한 장치.
Claims (10)
- 기체를 비닐피리딘 중합체 또는 공중합체를 함유한 흡착제와 접촉시키는 단계와 루테늄이 고착된 흡착제로부터 기체를 분리하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 기체속에 존재하는 기체상의 루테늄의 회수방법.
- 방사선조사선 핵연료의 재처리과정에서 비롯된 핵분열생성물을 함유한 수용액성 용출액속에 존재하는 방사성 루테늄을 분리하는 방법에 있어서, a)루테늄을 산화시켜 휘발성 사산화루테늄이 되게 하기 위해 산화제 존재하에 100∼150℃까지 용출액을 가열하는 단계와, b)휘발된 루테늄을 함유한 기체와 비닐피리딘 중합체 또는 공중합체를 함유하는 흡착제를 접촉시킴으로써 휘발된 루테늄을 회수하고, 그리고 루테늄이 고착된 흡착제로부터 기체를 분리하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 산화제가 치아염소산나트륨임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 가열은 진공중에 실시함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 흡착제가 교차결합된 폴리-4-비닐피리딘에 의해 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 기체와 흡착제와의 접촉과 분리는 상기 흡착제의 분말을 통해 기체를 여과시킴으로써 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 기체는 아질산증기, 산소, 염소, 수증기중에서 선택된 적어도 한 성분을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 기체와 흡착제와의 접촉은 53∼63℃에서 실시함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 흡착제에 고착된 루테늄을 용해시키기 위해 흡착제를 수용액중에서 처리함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 수용액은 황산용액임을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
