Abstract
이 발명은 펠렛을 형성하기 위하여 분말재료를 압출성형하기 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 이 방법은 분말 재료의 충전을 수용하기 위한 압축 통로를 갖는 다이 공동에 일시적인 대처를 위하여 반압축된 분말재료를 제공하는 단계와; 분말재료의 예정된 양으로 반압축된 분말재료를 수용한 다이공동을 충전하는 단계와; 반 압축된 재료가 펠렛 형태로 완전히 압축되고 충전된 분말재료가 반압축된 형태로 완전히 압축되므로 압축통로를 거쳐서 다이공동으로부터 반압축 재료를 압출성형 반압축재료에 대항하여 다이 공동안으로 충전된 분말재료를 누르는 단계를 포함한다. 충전 및 누름단계는 반압축된 재료를 경유하여 펠렛안으로 분말재료를 연속적으로 형성하도록 반복하게 된다. 이 장치에서 세로방향 다이공동은 다이를 통과하고 제1통로의 측방단면 치수가 거의 동일하고 압축 통로의 측방 단면 치수가 점차 감소하게 된 제1통로에 연속적으로 연결한 제1통로 및 압축통로를 포함한다. 펀치는 다이공동안으로 미끄럼가능한 삽입을 위하여 다이공동의 세로방향에서 다이에 대하여 이동가능하며 펀치가 다이공동안으로 삽입될 때 펀치는 압축통로에 거의 도달하지 못하게 된다.

Claims (20)
- 분말 재료의 펠렛을 형성하도록 분말재료를 압출성형방법에 있어서, (A)분말재료의 충전을 수용하기 위한 압축 통로를 갖는 다이공동에 일시적인 대처를 위하여 반압축된 분말재료를 제공하는 단계와; (B)상기 분말재료의 예정된 양으로 반압축된 분말재료를 수용한 다이공공을 충진하는 단계와; (C)반압축된 재료가 펠렛 형태로 완전히 압축되고 충전된 분말재료가 반압축된 형태로 완전히 압축되므로 압축통로를 거쳐서 다이 공동으로부터 반압축 재료를 압출성형 반압축재료에 대향하여 다이 공동안으로 충전된 분말재료를 누르는 단계와; (D)반압축된 재료를 경유하여 펠렛안으로 분말재료를 연속적으로 형성하도록 단계 (B) 및 (C)를 반복하는 단계를 포함하도록 된 방법.
- 제1항 있어서, 상기 준비 단계(A)는, (a)일시적인 기초가 다이공동안으로 분말재료를 일시적으로 수용하기 위하여 다이 공동으로 일시적인 기초를 위치시키는 단계와; (b)분말재료의 예정된 양을 갖는 다이공동을 충진하는 단계와; (c)충진된 분말재료가 반압축된 분말재료안으로 형성되고 불충분하게 눌려짐에 의해 압축통로를 거쳐서 다이공동으로부터 일시적인 기초를 압출성형하고 일시적인 기초에 대향하여 다이 공동안으로 충전된 분말 재료를 누르게 되는 방법을 포함하도록 된 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 준비단계(A)의 일시적인 기초는 변형가능한 재료로 이루어진 편(piece)을 포함하도록 된 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변형가능한 재료는 연성의 금속, 고무, 셀룰로우즈 재료, 종이, 의류 및 섬유 충진물로 선택하도록 된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 다이 공동은 압축통로에서 테이퍼지도록 된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 다이공동의 단면치수는 펠렛의 단면 치수만큼 큰 크기로 압축통로에서 점차 감소하도록 된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 성형된 펠렛은 신장된 형태를 갖도록 된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 준비단계(A)전에 튜브 형태로 다이공동을 형성하기 위하여 다이공동에 맨드릴 위치시키는 단계를 포함하도록 된 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다이공동은 펠렛상에 나선 형태부분을 형성하기 위하여 압축통로상에 제공하도록 된 방법.
- 분말재료의 펠렛을 형성하도록 분말재료는 연속적으로 압출성형하기 위한 장치에 잇어서, 제1통로의 측방 단면치수가 거의 동일하고 압축통로의 측방 단면치수가 점차 줄어들며 제1통로에 연속적으로 연결한 압축통로와 제1통로를 포함하여 다이를 거쳐서 통과한 세로방향 다이 공동을 갖는 다이와; 공통안으로 미끄럼 삽입하기 위하여 다이공동의 세로 방향에서 다이에 대하여 이동가능하고 펀치가 다이 공동안으로 삽입될 때 압축통로에 연속적으로 도달하지 않게 된 펀치를 포함하도록 된 압출성형장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 압축 통로의 상기 측방 단면 치수는 펠렛의 단면 치수와 동일한 크기로 감소하도록 된 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 형성된 펠렛상에 내부 보어를 형성하기 위한 다이공동에 동축으로 배치된 세로방향 맨드릴과; 펀치가 다이공동안으로 삽입될 때 맨드릴을 수용하기 위하여 핀치상에 제공된 수용 보어를 포함하도록 된 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 펀치가 다이공동으로 눌려지게 될 때 다이가 고정된 기저부에 위치하게 되고, 펀치가 다이공동으로부터 해제하게 될 때 다이가 예정된 거리로 고정된 기저부로부터 이격되며 고정된 기저부상에 다이를 현수하여 장착하기 위한 장착 수단을 포함하도록 된 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 다이는 제1및 제2분리가능한 부분을 포함하고, 다이공동의 제1통로는 제1분리가능한 부분을 통과하고 제2분리가능한 부분으로 연장하며 압축통로는 제2분리가능한 부분에 위치하게 된 장치.
- 제14항에 있어서, 다이 공동은 다이의 제2분리가능한 부분에서 압축통로에 연속적으로 연결된 통로를 포함하고 상기 제2통로의 측면 단면 치수는 일정하게 된 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 펠렛상에 나선형태 부분을 형성하기 위한 형성수단을 포함하도록 된 장치.
- 제16항에 있어서, 형성수단은 압축통로상에 형성된 나선 리세스를 포함하도록 된 장치.
- 제14항에 있어서, 다이공동의 세로방향에 대하여 다이의 제2부분을 회전가능하게 지지하기 위한 제1지지수단을 포함하도록 된 장치.
- 제18항에 있어서, 다이공동의 세로방향에 대하여 펀치를 회전가능하게 지지하기 위한 제2지지수단을 포함하도록 된 장치.
