Abstract

조수석용 에어백장치의 에어백의 손상을 방지한다.
조수석용 에어백장치의 케이스(12)에 도어(18)가 부착되어 있다.
도어(18)의 이면의 백플레이트(18b)으로부터 접어세워진 각편부(20)가 케이스(12)의 일단측에 연결되고, 케이스(12)의 타단측에 대하여는 죠인트(24)를 개재하여 도어(18)가 연결되어 있다.
죠인트(24)에는 넥부분(28)이 설치되어 있고, 이 넥부분(28)을 감싸도록 블록부(32)가 설치되어 있다.
에어백장치가 작동한 경우, 넥부분(28)으로부터 죠인트(24)가 끊어 찢어지는 것이지만, 이때 끊어찢어진 선단부(30)가 블록부(32)로 들어간 상태가 된다.
이 때문에, 차량실 내로 향해서 전진하는 에어백(14)이 끊어찢어진 선단부(30)와 접동하는 일이 없고, 이 접동에 따르는 손상이 방지된다.

Claims (2)

  1. 앞면이 차량실 내로 향해서 설치되는 개구로 되어 있는 케이스(12)와, 그 개구를 덮고 있는 도어(18)를 구비해서 이루어지고, 그 개구중 대향하는 한쪽부근에 대하여 상기한 도어(18)가, 그 도어(18)의 개방방향으로의 회동을 허용하는 부재를 개재하여 연결되고, 그 개구중 대향하는 다른쪽 부근에 대하여 상기한 도어(18)가 그 도어와 케이스(12)와의 연결을 끊도록 끊어 찢어짐이 가능한 부재를 개재하여 연결되어 있는 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서의 케이스(12)와 도어(18)와의 연결구조에 있어서, 상기한 도어(18)의 이면 중 끊어 찢어짐이 가능한 부재의 근방이고, 또한 그것보다도 케이스(12) 중앙측의 부분에 그 끊어 찢어짐이 가능부재의 끊어 찢어질 예정부보다도 높게 돌출한 매끄러운 외면으로 이루어지는 볼록부(32)를 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서의 케이스와 도어와의 연결구조.
  2. 앞면이 차량실 내로 향해서 설치되는 개구로 되어 있는 케이스(12)와, 그 개구와 덮고 있는 도어(18)를 구비하여서 이루어지고, 그 개구중 대향하는 한쪽부근에 대하여, 상기한 도어(18)가 그 도어의 개방방향으로의 회동을 허용하는 부재를 개재하여 연결되고, 그 개구중 대향하는 다른쪽 부근에 대하여 상기한 도어(18)가, 그 도어(18)와 케이스(12)와의 연결을 절단하도록 끊어 찢어짐이 가능한 부재를 개재하여 연결되어 있는 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서의 케이스(12)와 도어(18)와의 연결구조에 있어서, 상기한 도어(18)의 이면에 오목부(34)를 설치하고, 그 오목부(34)내에 상기한 끊어 찢어짐이 가능한 부재의 끊어 찢어질 예정부를 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서의 케이스와 도어와의 연결구조.
