Abstract

본 발명은 용지폭방향 위치결정기구(5)의 가동판(7)을 홈포지션(HP)측에 고정판(6)을 그 반대방향에 배치하여 설치하고 또한 용지폭 검출수단(10)을 이미 알고 있는 치수(C1)로부터 용지단 검출센서(11)가 용지의 홈포지션(HP) 측단을 검출할까지의 캐리어(3)의 홈포지션(HP)으로부터의 이동량(X)을 빼서 당해 용지폭의 치수(W1, W2)를 검출하도록 한 것이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 고정판과 가동판으로 이루어진 용지폭 방향 위치결정기구와 용지단 검출센서를 포함하는 용지폭 검출수단을 갖고 있으면 홈포지션으로 부터의 캐리어의 이동량을 제어하면서 인자 처리하는 프린터에 있어서 상기 가동판을 상기 홈포지션측에 상기 고정판을 그 반대방향에 배설하고 또한 상기 용지폭 검출수단이 상기 홈포지션과 그 고정판과의 사이의 이미 알고 있는 치수로 부터 상기 캐리어의 홈포지션으로 부터 상기 용지단 검출센서가 용지의 홈포지션측단을 검출할때까지의 이동량을 뺀 값으로해서 용지폭 치수를 검출하도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 미리 정해진 용지폭이외의 용지폭 치수가 검출될때에는 에러 신호를 발생시키도록 한것을 특징으로 하는 프린터.
