Claims (8)

  1. 하기 일반식(I)의 제미날 디메틸알킬 화합물,
    상기식에서, R1은 CH3, 1개 또는 2개의 비인접 -CH2-그룹이 -O-, -S-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -Si(CH3)2- 또는 -O-CO-O-에 의해 대체될 수 있으며 알킬 라디칼의 H가 F에 의해 대체될 수 있는 탄소수 2내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄(비대칭 탄소원자가 존재 또는 부재하는)알킬 또는 알케닐이거나, 라디칼
    중의 하나이고, A1, A2및 A3은 동일하거나 상이하며, 2개의 H가 F에 의해 치환될 수 있는 1,4-페닐렌, 1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 피라진-2,5-디일, 피리다진-3,6-디일, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일 또는 (1,3,4)-티아디아졸-2,5-디일이며, M1및 M2는 동일하거나 상이한 -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CO-S-, -S-CO-, -CH2-O-, -O-CH2-, -C≡C- 또는 -CH=CH- 이고 G 및 G1은 1개 또는 2개의 비인접 -CH2-그룹이 -O-, -S-, -O-CO-, -CO- 또는 -O-CO-O-에 의해 대체될 수 있는 동일하거나 상이한 탄소수 1내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬렌이며, R2, R3, R4및 R5는 동일하거나 상이하며, H이거나 1개의 -CH2-그룹이 -O-, -S-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CO- 또는 -O-CO-O-에 의해 대체될 수 있는 탄소수 1내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬 또는 탄소수 2내지 16의 알케닐이며, k, l, m 및 n은 0또는 1이고, R6은 탄소수 1내지 10의 직쇄 알킬이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, -A1(-M1)k(-A2)1(-M2)m(-A3)n-그룹이
    일반식(I)의 제미날 디메틸알킬 화합물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, -A1(-M1)k(-A2)1(-M2)m(-A3)n-그룹이
    R1은 1개의 CH2그룹이 -O-, -S-, -CO-, -CO-O- 또는 -O-CO- 에 의해 대체될 수 있는 탄소수 2내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄(비대칭 탄소원자가 존재 또는 부재하는)알킬 또는 알케닐이여, G는 1개의 -CH2-그룹이 -O-, -S-, -CO-O- 또는 -O-CO- 에 의해 대체될 수 있는 탄소수 1내지 16의 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬렌이며, R6은 탄소수 1내지 6의 직쇄 알킬인 일반식(I)의 제미날 디메틸알킬 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 일반식(I)의 제미날 디메틸알킬 화합물의 액정 혼합물 성분으로서의 용도.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 액정 혼합물이 네마틱인 용도.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 액정 혼합물이 강유전성인 용도.
  7. 제1항에 따른 일반식(I)의 제미날 디메틸알킬 화합물 1개 이상의 함유하는 액정 혼합물.
  8. 제7항에 따른 액정 혼합물을 함유하는 전자광학 스위칭 및 디스플레이 장치,
