Claims (31)

  1. 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 및 복합 부재를 포함하고, 상기 복합 부재는 기층 부재 및 상기 기층 부재에 기계적으로 고정된 변형 가능 금속층을 포함하고, 상기 기층 부재는 상기 변형가능 금속보자 경질인 재료로 형성되며, 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 및 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 초음파 용접으로 형성된 고상 결합(solid phase bond)의 의해 함께 결합된 제품.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기층부재는 금속으로 형성된 제품.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기층 부재는 강철로 형성되고 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 제품.
  4. 전기한 항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 450마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 제품.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 150마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 제품.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 60마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 제품.
  7. 제4항 내지 6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최소한 25마이크론의 두께를 지니는 제품.
  8. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 복합 부재는 최대 2㎜를 포함하는 최대 두께를 지니는 제품.
  9. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 복합 부재는 라미나(laminar)인 제품.
  10. 전기한 항들중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재는 세라믹으로 형성된 제품.

  14. 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 및 복합 부재를 포함하는 제품 형성방법에 있어서, 상기 복합 부재는 기층부재 및 상기 기층 부재에 기계적으로 고정된 변형 가능 금속층을 포함하고, 상기 기층 부재는 상기 변형 가능 금속보다 경질인 재료로 형성되며, 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재를 상기 변형가능 금속층에 근접하도록 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 및 상기 변형 가능 금속층을 초음파 용접에 의해 함께 결합시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기 기층 부재는 금속으로 형성된 방법.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 기층 부재는 강철로 형성되고 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 재료로 형성되는 방법.
  17. 제14항 내지 16항의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 변형 가능 금속층은, 상기 변형 가능 금속이 초음파 용접중에 상기 변형 가능 금속층과 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 사이의 계면에서 진동을 일으키도록 하는 정도의 두께를 지니는 방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 450마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 방법.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 150마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최대 60마이크론을 포함하는 범위내 두께를 지니는 방법.
  21. 제18항 내지 20항에 있어서, 상기 변형 가능 금속층은 최소한 25마이크론의 두께를 지니는 방법.
  22. 제14항 내지 21항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 복합 부재는 최대 2㎜를 포함하는 최대 두께를 지니는 방법.
  23. 제14항 내지 22항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 복합 부재는 라미나(laminar)인 방법.
  24. 제14항 내지 23항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재는 세라믹으로 형성되는 방법.

  29. 제28항에 있어서, 고체 전해질 컵, 컵의 개방 단부를 폐쇄시키는 세라믹 디스크를 포함하는 세라믹 또는 유리질 부재 및, 세라믹 디스크를 통해 컵내로 연장된 전류 집전체를 포함하고, 상기 복합 부재는 전류 집전체와 전기적으로 연결된 터미널 부재를 포함하고, 상기 터미널 부재 및 상기 세라믹 디스크는 상기 고상 결합으로 함께 결합되는 나트륨/황 전지.
  30. 제29항에 있어서, 터미너 디스크는 전지를 다른 전지들에 연결시키는 역할을 하는 상호 연결 부재의 일부인 나트륨/황 전지.
  31. 제29항 또는 30항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 터미널 디스크는 전류 집전체와 일체로(integrally) 형성된 나트륨/황 전지.
