Claims (9)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물:
    상기식에서, 고리 A 및 B는 각각 독립적으로 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 비치환되거나 할로겐 및/또는 시아노 및/메틸로일-또는 이치환된 1,4-페닐렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일 또는 피리미딘-2,5-디일을 의미하고, 고리C는 트랜스 -1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 트랜스 -1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일을 의미하며, Z1및 Z2는 각각 독립적으로 단일 결합, 또는 적어도 하나의 포화된 고리와 결합된 경우에는 또한 에틸렌을 의미하고, Z3는 단일 결합 또는 에텔렌을 의미하며, R1은 불소 또는 염소를 의미하고, R2는 수소 또는 불소를 의미하며, R3는 C2-12-1E-알케닐, C4-12-3E-알케닐,C5-12-4-알케닐 또는 ,C2-12-알콕시알킬을 의미하며, 이때 알콕시알킬을 의미하며, 이때 알콕시 알킬의 경우에는 산소 원자와 고리 C 사이에 5개 이하의 메틸렌 그룹이 위치하나, 단, (a)고리 B가(헤테로)방향족인 경우, 고리 A는 동시에 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌이 아니고, (b)각각 단일 결합과 연결된 최대 2개의 트랜스-1,4-사이클로 헥실렌 그룹이 존재하며, (c)고리 A및 B중 최대1개가 피리딘-2,5-디일 또는 피리미딘-2,5-디일이고, (d)R1이 불소를 의미하고 동시에 R3가 C2-12-1E-알케닐을 의미하는 경우, R2는 불소만을 나타낸다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 고리 A가 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 비치환된 1,4-페닐렌인 화합물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 고리B가 트랜스 -1,4-사이클로헥실렌인 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, Z1이 단일 결합이고, Z2및 Z3가 둘다 에틸렌은 아닌 화합물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, R3가 비닐, 1E-프로페닐, 1E-또는 3-부테닐, 1E-,3E-또는 4-펜테닐, 1E-또는 3E-헥시닐 또는 1E- 또는 3E-협테닐을 의미하는 화합물.
  6. 적어도 하나의 성분이 제1항에서 정의한 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물인, 적어도 2개의 성분을 갖는 액정 혼합물.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 함량이 2내지 30중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  8. 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 일반식(Ⅰ)화합물 및 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)내지 (ⅩⅩ)의 화합물 그룹중에서 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 함유하는 액정혼합물:
    상기식에서, r은 0또는 1을 나타내고, R4및 R7은 각각 독립적으로 알킬, 알콕시알킬, 3E-알케닐 4-알케닐 또는 포화된 고리상에서 또한 1E-알케닐을 의미하고, 고리 A1은 1,4-페닐렌, 트랜스-1,4-사이클로 헥실렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일 또는 트랜스 -1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일을 나타내며, R5는 시아노, 이소티오시아네이토, 불소, 알킬, 3E-알케닐, 4-알케닐, 알콕시, 2E-알케닐옥시, 3-알케닐옥시 또는 1-알키닐을 나타내고, 고리A2는 1,4-페닐렌 또는 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌을 나타내며, R6는 알킬, 3E-알케닐, 4-알케닐 또는 사이클로헥산 고리상에서 또한 1E-알케닐 또는 벤젠고리상에서 또한 시아노, 이소티오시아네이토, 알콕시, 2E-알케닐옥시 또는 3-알케닐옥시를 의미하고, R8는 알킬, 1-E 알케닐, 3E-알케닐 또는 4-알케닐을 타나내며, Z4및 Z5는 각각 단일 결합 또는 에틸렌을 나타내는데,이때 방향족 고리는 단일 결합에 의해서만 연결되며, R9은 시아노 알킬, 1E-알케닐, 3E -알케닐,4-알케닐, 알콕시, 2E-알케닐옥시, 3-알케닐옥시, 알콕시메틸 또는 (2E-알케닐)옥시메틸을 의미하고, R10은 수소, 불소 또는 염소를 나타내며, R11은 불소, 염소 또는 시아노를 의미하고, R12는 알킬, 1E-알케닐, 3E-알케닐 또는 4-알케닐을 나타내며, R13은 수소 또는 불소를 의미하고, R14는 불소 또는 염소를 나타낸다.
  9. 전광목적을 위한 제1항에있어서, 정의한, 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 용도.
