Claims (12)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물 :
    (Ⅰ)
    상기식에서, Z1은 단일 공유결합 또는 -CH2CH2-를 나타내고; A1고리는 1, 4-페닐렌, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 피리딘-2,5-디일을 나타내거나, 또는 Z1이 -CH2CH2-를 나타낼 때는 또한 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌을 나타내며; X1은 불소 또는 염소를 나타내고; X2는 불소, 염소 또는 수소를 나타내지만, 단, X1이 염소일때, 또는 A1고리가 피리딘-2,5-디일을 나타내고 Z1이 -CH2CH2-를 나타낼 때는 수소만을 나타내며; R1은 2 내지 12개의 탄소원자를 갖는 1E-알케닐을 나타낸다.
  2. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물 :
    (Ⅰ)
    상기식에서, Z1은 단일 공유결합 또는 -CH2CH2-를 나타내고; A1고리는 1, 4-페닐렌, 피리미딘-2,5-디일, 피리딘-2,5-디일을 나타내거나, 또는 Z1이 -CH2CH2-를 나타낼 때는 또한 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌을 나타내며; X1은 불소 또는 염소를 나타내고; X2는 불소 또는 염소를 나타내거나, 또는 X1이 염소를 나타낼 때는 또는 또한 수소를 나타내며; R1은 2 내지 12개의 탄소원자를 갖는 1E-알케닐을 나타낸다.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ia) 내지(Ig)을 갖는 화합물 :

  4. 제3항에 있어서, Z1이 단일 공유결합을 나타내는 화합물.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ib) 내지 (Ih)를 갖는 화합물 :

    상기식에서, R1은 2 내지 12개의 탄소원자를 갖는 1E-알케닐 잔기를 나타내고 ; Z1은 단일 공유결합 또는 -CH2CH2-를 나타내며 : X3는 불소, 염소 또는 수소를 나타내고 ; X4는 염소 또는 불소를 나타내다.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 일반식(Ie)를 갖는 화합물 :

    상기식에서, R1은 2 내지 12개의 탄소원자를 갖는 1E-알케닐 잔기를 나타내고 ; Z1은 단일 공유결합 또는 -CH2CH2-를 나타내며 : X3는 염소, 불소 또는 수소를 나타낸다.
  7. 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, R1이 직쇄 잔기를 나타내는 화합물.
  8. 제1항 내지 제6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, R1이 2 내지 7개, 바람직하게는 2 내지 5개의 탄소원자를 갖는 화합물.
  9. 적어도 하나의 성분이 제1항에서 정의한 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물인, 적어도 2개의 성분을 갖는 액정 혼합물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 일반식(Ⅰ)화합물의 함량이 1 내지 50중량%, 바람직하게는 5내지 30중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  11. 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)의 하나 이상의 화합물 및 하기 일반식(Ⅶ) 내지 ( X X V)의 화합물 그룹으로부터의 하나 이상의 화합물을 함유 하는 액정 혼합물:

    상기식들에서, n은 0 또는 1을 나타내고; R3및 R6는 각각 독립적으로 알킬, 3E-알케닐, 4-알케닐, 알콕시알킬을 나타내거나, 또는 포화된 고리상에서는 또한 1E-알케닐을 나타내며; A2고리는 1,4-페닐렌, 트랜스-1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 피리딘-2,5-디일, 피리미딘-2,5-디일 또는 트랜스-1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일을 나타내고; R4는 시아노, -NCS, 불소, 알킬, 3E-알케닐, 4-알케닐, 알콕시, 2E-알케닐톡시, 3-알케닐톡시 또는 알케닐,4-알케닐을 나타내거나, 또는 사이클로헥산 고리상에서는 또한 1E-알케닐을 나타내거나, 또는 벤젠알케닐, 3E-알케닐 또는 4-알케닐을 나타내고; Z2및 Z3는 각각 독립적으로 단일 공유결합 또는 -CH2CH2-를 나타내고, 단 2개의 방향족 고리는 항상 단일 공유결합에 의해 연결되어 있으며; R8은 시아노, 알킬, 3E-알케닐, 4-알케닐, 알콕시, 2E-알케닐톡시, 3-알케닐톡시, 알콕시메틸, (2E-알케닐)톡시메틸을 나타내거나, 또는 사이클로헥산 고리상에서는 또한 1E-알케닐을 나타내고; X5는 수소; 염소 또는 불소를 나타내며; X7은 수소 또는 불소를 나타낸다.
