제1도는 본 발명의 실시예에 관한 칩 캐리어(chip carrier) 의 부분 평면도,
제2도는 제1도에 보여주는 칩 캐리어의 A-A부 단면도,
제3도는 제1도에 보여주는 칩 캐리어를 외부회로 장치에 접속한 상태의 한예를 모식적으로 보여주는 측면도.

Claims (10)

  1. 전기절연성의 가요성 필름부재와 이러한 가요성 필름부재의 표면의 형성된 복수조의 금속배선으로 된 칩 캐리어에 있어서, 금속배선과 중복되는 부분에 굴곡예정부가 마련되고 이러한 굴곡예정부를 포함하는 영역의 전부 또는 일부에서 가요성 필름부재가 나머지부분에 비하여 엷은 살두께를 갖고 있다는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 금속배선이 가요성 필름부재의 표리어느것인가 한쪽면에 형성되고 있고, 굴곡예정부를 포함하는 영역이 가요성 필름부재의 다른쪽면의 금속배선의 존재하지 않은 위치에 정해지며, 이런 위치에서 가용성필름부재가 다른쪽의 면측에 감육부(두께감소)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 가요성 필름부재가 굴곡예정부에 따른 슬릿 형상의 박육부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 박육부의 살두께가 나머지 부분의 가요성 필름두께의 1/2이하 5μm이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 가요성 필름부재가 거기에 탑재되게 되는 반도체 칩의 배치예정부를 갖고 굴곡예정부가 탑재예정부를 사이에 두고 적어도 한쌍 마련되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 굴곡예정부에 중복되는 금속 배선직하의 부분의 가요성 필름부재가, 나머지부분 보다도 엷은 살두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  7. 제1항에 있이서 굴곡예정부에 중복되는 아금속배선의 사이의 부분의 가요성 필름부재가 나머지의 부분보다도 엷은 살두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 굴곡예정부에 중복되는 금속배선 직하의 부분, 및 굴곡예정부에 중복되는 금속배선의 사이의 부분의 쌍방의 가요성 필름부재가 나머지의 부분보다도 엷은 살두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 캐리어.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 반도체 장치칩이 칩 캐리어위에 탑재되어 상기한 반도체장치 칩과 상기한 표시장치가 칩 캐리어 의 상기한 금속배선을 개재하여 상호전기적으로 접속되고 그리하여 조합이 표시 단위장치를 구성하고 있는 칩 캐리어.
  10. 제9항에 의한 표시장치가 액정 표시패널을 포함한 칩 캐리어.
