제3도 (b) 및 제3도 (c)는 편광판의 투과 축을 직각 니콜으로 배치하였을 경우의 θ90방향 (기준선(22)과 직각 방향으로 상면으로 부터 시야각을 증가하여 간다) 및 θ45방향 (투과축 방향으로 상면으로 부터 시야각을 증가하여 간다)의 평광도의 시야각의 존성의 특성도,
제4도 (a) 및 제4도(b)는 2장의 편광판 사이에 위상필름을 삽입한 상태의 배치도,

Claims (9)
- 대향하는 전극사이에 꼬인 비향을 네마틱 액정셀와 액정셀을 끼워서 표리에 배치한 한쌍의 편광판과 전술한 한쌍의 편광판(32),(33)사이에 배치한 적어도 한쌍의 위상필름을 구비하고 한쌍의 위상필름의 연신축이 대략 직교하고 또한 전술한 네마틱액정의 배향방향과 이것에 인접하는 위상필름의 연신축이 대략 평행으로 배치되어 있음을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학소자.
- 제1항에 있어서 편광판의 투과축과 이것에 인접한 위상필름의 연신축이 대략 직교하고 있음을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학소자.
- 제2항에 있어서 한쌍의 위상필름을 한편의 편광판과 액정셀사이에 배치하여서 된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서 한쌍의 위상필름의 연신축의 교각을 직각보다 크게하고 평광판의 투과축과 그에 인접하는 위상필름의 연신축의 교각을 직각보다 작게 하여 설정한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각각의 위상필름은 위상필름의 굴절률이 방성(4n)과 위상필름의 두께의 적(4n, d)이 대략 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학소자.
- 제1항에 있어서 편광판과 한편, 또는 양편의 위상필름은 일체화된 복합필름임을 특징으로 하는 전기광학소자.
- 제6항에 있어서 복합필름 액정셀의 기판으로 한것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학 소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 한쌍의 편광판 사이에 적어도 한층의 광학적 이방체를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학소자.
- 제8항에 있어서, 광학적 이방체가 액정셀과 꼬인각이 대략 같고 역꼬임의 네마틱액정이며, 굴절률 이방성(4n)과 셀두께(d)의 적(△n. d)이 액정셀의 그것과 대략 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학소자.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
