Claims (10)

  1. 파장대역이 다른 광선이 통과하는 복수의 광로를 구비하고, 적어도 2개이상의 상기 광로안에, 1쌍의 편광수단과, 트위스트 네마틱 액정셀과, 적어도 1장의 위상판으로 이루어진 광학구성을 배치하고, 상기 광학구성에 있어서, 액정셀기판의 배향방향과 위상판의 지상축, 및 편광수단의 차광축의 설정각도 또는, 위상판의 지연치가 상기 광학 구성마다 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  2. 파장대역이 다른 광선이 통과하는 복수의 광로를 구비하고, 가장 짧은 파장역의 광선이 통과하는 광로안에만, 1쌍의 편광수단과, 트위스트 네마틱 애정셀과, 적어도 1장의 위판상으로 이루어진 광학구성을 배치하는 것을 특징으로 한느 투사형 액정표시장치.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 적어도 1개의 광학구성에 있어서, 위상판에 인접하는 액정셀 기판의 배향 방향을 기준으로해서, 위상판의 지상축과 위상판에 인접하는 편광수단의 투과 또는 차광축이 액정의 트위스트 방향과는 반대로 0-45˚기울어 지게하여 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 적어도 1개의 광학구성에 있어서, 편광수단과 액정셀이 인접하는 면을 구비하고, 위상판에 인접하는 액정셀기판의 배향방향 및 위상판의 지상축과 위상판에 인접하는 편광수단의 두과 또는 차광축, 각각의 광학축이 인접하는 광학축과 0-45˚의 교각을 이루고, 광학축이 액정의 트위스트 방향과는 반대방향으로 꼬이도록 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 투과형액정표시장치.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 적어도 1개의 광학 구성에 있어서, 2장의 위상판을 배치하고, 상기 2장의 위상판의 지상축이 거의 직교하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  6. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 적어도 1개의 광학 구성에 있어서, 위상판에 인접하는 액정셀 기판의 배향방향 및 위상자의 지상축과 편광수단의 차광축 가운데 적어도 1개의 광학축의 방향을 상기 특허청구의 범위 제3항 및 제4항의 구성으로 부터 90˚회전시켜 설정한 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  7. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 적어도 1장의 광학구성에 있어서, 상기 액정셀과 액정분자의 꼬임이 반대이고, 꼬임 각도의 크기가 거의 동등하고, 굴절율 이방성△n과 셀두께 d의 곱 △nd가 상기 액정셀의 △nd와 거의 동등한 보상용 액정셀을 배치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  8. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 위상판으로서 폴리 카아보네이트 또는 폴리비닐알코올을 펴서 작성된 광의 위상차를 발생시키는 필름을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  9. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 2개의 편광수단과 적어도 1장의 위상판과 액정셀로 이루어진 광학 구성에 있어서, 위상판의 지상축 또는 편광수단의 차광축 또는 양광학축의 설정각도가 조절가능한 구성으로한 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 온도 검출수단을 구비하고 검출결과에 연동해서, 위상판의 지상축 또는 편광수단의 차광축 또는 양광학축의 설정각도가 조절되는 구성으로 한것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 액정표시장치.
