Claims (8)

  1. 2개의 지지플레이트 사이에 전기광학 표시물질과 행과 열로 배열된 화상소자 시스템을 구비하며, 각 화상소자에 지지플레이트의 표면에 배열된 화상전극에 의해 형성되어 있으며 데이타 신호와 표시된 선택에 대해 행렬 전극 시스템을 구비하며, 전자광 표시에 의한 전압의 범위가 화상표시의 목적으로 화상소자를 통해 나타내는 장치를 포함하는 표시장치에 있어서, 2개의 비선형 스위칭 장치의 공통 접속점에 전기적 전도방법으로 접속된 지지플레이트들 한계상의 화상전극은 데이타 신호 및 인가를 위한 열 전극간에 직렬로 배열되어 있고, 이전의 선택, 화상소자 양단의 보조전압 이상 또는 화상 장치를 위해 사용될 전압범위의 한계상의, 적어도 비선형 스위칭 장치는 비선형 스위칭 소자의 다수를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 비선형 스위칭 장치는 직렬로 배열된 2개의 비선형 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 비선형 스위칭 장치는 적어도 하나의 비선형 스위칭 소자를 갖는 각기 두개의 분지선의 병렬 배열을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 보조전압은 전자광 매개체의 전송/전압 특성을 갖는 변이의 범위한계까지 또는 그 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  5. 1항에서 4항까지의 어느 항에 있어서, 비선형 스위칭 소자는 pm다이오드이고, 핀 다이오드 혹은 쇼트키 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  6. 앞항의 어떤 항에 있어서, 화상전극의 행에서 매시 병렬로 놓인 두개의 화상전극은 보조전압을 위해 공통전극에서 비선형 스위칭 장치를 통해 접속되고, 그 전극은 화상전극간에 놓인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  7. 앞항의 어떤 항에 있어서, 전자광 매개채는 액정물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 전자광 매개체는 강유전체 액정선 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
