Claims (5)
- 두 개의 지지 플레이트 사이에 있는 전자 광학 표시 매체와 각 픽셀이 지지 플레이트의 마주보는 표면 사이에 위치된 화상 전극에 의해 형성되고 로우 및 컬럼 사이에 배열되는 픽셀 시스템과, 전자 광학 표시 매체에 따른 전압 범위가 화상 표시를 위하여 픽셀 양단에 제공되는 수단에 의해 선택 및 데이타 신호를 제공하기 위한 로우 및 컬럼 전극 시스템을 구비하는 표시 장치에 있어서, 지지 플레이트 중 하나에서의 화상 전극은 두개의 비-선형 스위칭 장치의 공통점에 전기적 도통 방법으로 접속되고, 상기 비-선형 스위칭 장치는 화상 표시를 위해 사용될 전압 범위의 제한 또는 한정내에서 픽셀 양단에 보조 전압을 선택 이전에 인가하는 전극과 데이타 신호를 위한 컬럼 전극사이에 직렬로 배열되며, 다른 지지 플레이트에는 맨더링 통로를 따르는 로우 전극이 제공되는 것을 특징으로하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 칼라 소자가 픽셀과 일치하는 칼라 필터를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 칼라 필터의 동일 칼라 소자는 1½주기를 걸쳐 컬럼 방향으로 상호 비례하여 이동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 스위칭 장치는 다수의 스위칭 소자를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 선행항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 전자-광학 매체는 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
