제4도는 제3도의 삽입물의 평면도.
제7도는 본 발명에 따른 삽입물을 몰드코어에 고정시키는 평면도이다.

Claims (9)

  1. 크라운과, 상기 크라운에 일체로 연결된 스커트와, 한 쌍의 피스톤핀 보스와, 피스톤 스커트의 내부 형상에 적합하고 경합금보다 더 낮은 열팽창계수의 재료로 만들어진 한 쌍의 팽창제어 삽입물을 구비한 내연기관용 경합금피스톤에 있어서, 상기 삽입물이 피스톤핀 보스에 파묻힌 연결부와, 상기 연결부에 의해 결합되고 각각 두 금속요소를 형성하도록 상기 스커트의 내부형상에 적합한 연결부로부터 신장되는 한 쌍의 밴드와, 상기 밴드의 자유단에서 내측을 향하여 굽혀있는 한 쌍의 굽힘부로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금 피스톤.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 삽입물의 굽힘부가 상기 자유단의 상부 절반부에서 내측을 향하여 굽혀 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금 피스톤.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 삽입물의 굽힘부가 상기 자유단의 전체 길이에 걸쳐 내측을 향하여 굽혀있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤.
  4. 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 피스톤의 반경방향에 있는 상기 굽힘부의 반경방향길이가 상기 삽입물의 두께보다 작지않은 것을 특징으로하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤.
  5. 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 피스톤의 반경방향에 있는 상기 굽힘부의 최대반경방향길이가 상기 삽입물의 두께의 10배를 초과하지 않는 것을 특징으로하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 삽입물의 자유단이 굽힘부와 비굽힘부 사이의 경계구역에서 절단된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤.
  7. 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 굽힘부가 60도와 120도 사이의 각도로 굽혀 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤.
  8. 상기 피스톤의 제조방법에 있어서, 자유단에서 굽힘부를 갖도록 한 쌍의 삽입물을 구성하는 단계와, 상기 굽힘부를 수용하기 위해 다수의 홈을 갖도록 몰드코어를 구성하는 단계와, 상기 몰드코어에 상기 삽입물을 압착하는 단계와, 상기 몰드코어상의 상기 홈내에 굽힘부의 내부면을 스냅하는 단계와, 상기 삽입물의 탄성에 의해 상기 삽입물을 몰드코어에 셋팅하는 단계들로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤의 제조방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 피스톤을 주조하는 수단이 압착주조 공정인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 경합금피스톤의 제조방법.
