Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of clattering or breakage in a disengaging inhibiting part in a casted material consisting of dissimilar materials so as to inhibit the mutual disengagement, by so constituting that another disengagement inhibiting portion is not interposed on the line connecting the center of the contraction of the body and the disengagement inhibiting portions. CONSTITUTION:In a casted material consisting of a major metallic body 10 such as cast iron, Al alloy etc. and a separate body 15 consisting of a dissimilar material with smaller coefft. of thermal expansion, such as ceramics, etc. wherein said main body and separate body are so constructed that of both bodies is inhibited by providing inhibiting parts 11c, 15b for the disengagement by casting, 11b and 15c (disengagement inhibiting parts on the separate body) are so constituted that they are not arranged on a line connecting the center of contraction of the main body 10 at its contraction by cooling with 11c, 15b (but the inclination of the surface of the inhibiting parts 11b, 15c are parallel to the line ON). In this way, the effect of contraction difference and contraction stress at the cooling of the inhibiting parts, particularly of the separate body 15 is eliminated, whereby the occurrence of damaging etc. of the inhibiting parts is prevented and the yield is improved.
