Claims (4)

  1. 적색광을 제어하는 제1의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브와 녹생광을 제어하는 제2의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브와 청색광을 제어하는 제3의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브에 의해서 형성된 화상을 가법 혼색하여 확대 투사하는 투사형 표시장치에 있어서, 상기 3매의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브에 보유되는 트위스티드 네마틱 액정의 복굴절율(△n) 및 그 액정층의 두께(d)에 의해서 정해지는 △nd값을 입사색광의 파장 특성에 따라서 변화시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시장치.
  2. 제1항에있어서, 상기 제1의 트위스티드 네마틱 라이트 벌브의 △nd값은 상기 제2의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의 △nd값보다 크게 상기 제3의 트위스티드네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의 △nd값은 상기 제2의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의nd값보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 3매의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의 액정층에 두께(d)가 상호 동등하게 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 투사형 표시장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의 △nd값이 1.4,≤△nd≤1.6이고 상기 제2의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브이 △nd값이 1.2≤△nd≤1.4이며 상기 제3의 트위스티드 네마틱 액정 라이트 벌브의 △nd값이 1.0≤△nd≤1.2인 것을 특징으로 한는 투사형 표시장치
