볼펜용 액체전달 볼

제1도는 본 발명의 펜볼을 제조하는데 이용되는 장치로서 졸-겔 공정으로 알려진 종래기술의 분산매체/연마볼을 제조하기 위한 장치의 부분개략도임. 제2도는 표 2에 나타낸 산화지르코늄 함유뱃치의 입자크기분포를 예증하며 곡선 A는 종래 분산매체/연마볼에 대한 슬립 입자크기 분포, 곡선 B 및 C는 일예로서 본 발명의 펜볼을 제조하는데 사용될 수 있는 입자크기 분포를 나타낸 도표임.

Claims (15)

  1. 산화 지르코늄을 포함하는 세라믹으로 구성된 액체 전달볼.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 산화지르코늄이 세라믹의 주요 성분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액체전달볼.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 볼이 광택내단면의 광학적 영상분석에 의해 측정될 때 8%이하의 기공률을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체전달볼.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 산화지르코늄이 승온에서 입체적 및 정방지르코니아로부선택된 적어도 하나 이상을 형성하고, 그 상이 실온까지 냉각할 때 보유되는 안정제에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 안정화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체전달볼.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 볼의 조성이 다음몰 구조식으로 나타내지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼
    (ZrO2)1-x(RyOz)x
    상기에서, R은 Ⅱ-A족 원소, Ⅲ-B족 원소, 및 산화물중에서 안정한 +2, +3 및 4가 양이온을 형성하는 주기율표의 란탄족계열 원소중 적어도 한 원소를 나타내고, X는 약 0.05 내지 0.3의 값을 갖는 수를 나타내고, y 및 z는 (RyOz) 전기적 중성을 만드는데 필요한 값을 갖는 수를 나타낸다.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 안정제가 CaO, MgO, Y2O3및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 안정제가 CaO, MgO 및 Y2O3로부터 선택된 산화물이고, 볼의 총중량기준으로 각 산화물의 양이 2.6내지 5.5%의 MgO, 3.0 내지 10%의 CaO 및 4.0 내지 16%의 Y2O3인 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 평균입자크기가 1마이크론 이하인 산화지르코늄 분말로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체전달볼.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 평균 입자 크기가 0.6마이크론 이하인 산화지르코늄 분말로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼.
  10. 제1항 내지 제9항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 광택낸 단면의 광학적 영상 분석에 의해 측정할 때 기공률을 나타내고 적어도 부분적으로 안정화된 산화 지르코늄의 소결물질을 먼저 제조한 다음, 기공률을 줄이기 위해서 물질을 고온 아이소스타틱 압축함으로써 제조되는 액체 전달볼.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 소결된 물질은 평균 입자 크기가 1마이크론 이상이고 고온 아이소스타틱 압축전에 약 10%의 기공률을 나타내는 입자로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액체전달볼.
  12. 액체 용기와 통하게 놓여진 중공팁(끝부분)과 중공팁위로 돌출하도록 놓여지고 산화지르코늄을 포함하는 세라믹으로 된 액체전달볼을 포함하는 액체 전달장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 산화지르코늄이 세라믹의 주요 성분인 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼.
  14. 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 볼이 광택낸 단면의 광학적 영상분석에 의해 측정할 때 약% 이하의 기공률을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달볼.
  15. 제12항 내지 제14항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 산화지르코늄이 안정제에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 안정화된 것을 특징으로 하는 액체 전달장치.
