Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of hair loss comprising an extract of a herb medicine as an active ingredient,

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating hair loss, which comprises a mixed extract of Phellinus linteus, Acanthopanax senticosus, and Sepharose as an active ingredient.

The human body has about 100,000 to 150,000 hairs, and each hair has a different cycle and repeats anagen, catagen, and telogen. During the growing season hair grows to make keratin, and the regressive phase grows slowly as the growth phase ends and the metabolic process slows down while maintaining the shape of the hair. In the retrograde period, keratin is not made, and the cell division of the hair follicle is stopped, and it is a period of shrinking rapidly. At the next resting period, the hair follicle stops its activity completely and prepares for hair loss. It is pushed by the newly growing hair at the base of the resting hair, falls off by itself, and repeats the cycle of withdrawal by physical action such as combing or winding hair. This cycle repeats over 3 to 6 years, resulting in a normal drop in hair around 100 per day.

As described above, since human hair has a mother cycle, it always maintains a constant number of hairs without molting. However, when the baldness progresses, the nipples in the hair follicles become smaller, and when the papillae become smaller, the thickness of the hair becomes smaller, and at the same time, the wool becomes shorter, and the newly emerged hair becomes thinner. Therefore, as the baldness progresses, the hair turns into fluffy hair, and the mother period becomes shorter, so that it grows a little and then falls off. As the baldness progresses, the scalp becomes more oily and seborrheic dermatitis develops, and the sebaceous glands attached to the hair follicle gradually grow to produce sebum, which is not the cause of baldness but secondary phenomenon of baldness. .

From time to time, hair loss has been widely recognized as a common disease in middle- and high-middle-aged men. However, in the modern society, middle-aged men as well as women, and even teenagers, are increasing hair loss, which is becoming a serious problem in recent years.

The causes of hair loss are largely hereditary, and genetic causes include disproportionate secretion of hormones, mental stress of social life, exposure to air pollution, intake of processed foods, serious illness due to high fever, nutritional imbalance, A variety of habits and environments such as thyroid medications, oral contraceptives, shampoo, strong ultraviolet rays, sweating during exercise, eating habits, and psychological pressure are known to be the main culprits.

Currently, many anti-hair-loss agents or hair-removing agents for preventing hair loss and promoting hair are available on the world market, but there are still few drugs or technologies that can satisfy the therapeutic effect. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the only drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of hair loss, is minoxidil, a product developed as a hypertensive drug originally developed for the treatment of hypertension. Baldness and alopecia. Another drug currently in use is Propecia, which is based on the hormone hypothesis of hair loss. The male hormone is converted to the metabolite dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the action of 5-alpha reductase The material is known to atrophy and destroy hair follicles. The propecia inhibits DHA production by blocking 5-alpha-reductase, thereby slowing the progression of male-type hair loss to the utmost. The effect of the drug is not on hair growth but on preventing hair loss.

It is light brown and spherical. The fruit is ovate with a cone and it is like a rugged and horny shape. It is ripened from green to brown as if covered with white powder from September to November, and there are 6 to 8 pieces of fruit. The seeds are 2 ~ 3 pieces in one piece, oval and dark brown. It is difficult to distinguish between the front and back of the leaf, unlike a flower or a flower. White porcelain is used to stabilize the mind and body and to lubricate the intestines, and is used for border, sperm, huhan, and constipation.

Aacanthopanax senticosus is a deciduous broad- leaved shrub of the Araliaceae Araliaceae, 2 to 3 m high. Thick and long thorns are dense throughout and grayish brown. Especially, there are many thorns on the bottom of petiole. Leaves are palmate folded leaves with alternate phyllotaxis and 3-5 small leaves with inverted ovate or long oval shape. There are hairs on the surface and there are brown hairs on the veins when the child is young and there are sharp tooth-like sawtooth on the edge. The petiole is 3 ~ 8㎝ long and has many thorns. The flowers bloom in July with light purple and yellow, and the inflorescence is run one at the end of the branch or split at the bottom. There is a honey gland where the peduncle is split. The style is 1 to 1.8 cm in length, fully merged, and the head of the stigma is very shallowly divided into five branches. The fruit is round and has a diameter of 8 ~ 10mm and ripens in black in September. Acanthopanax is used as neuralgia, arthritis, hypertension, nervous breakdown, diabetes and tonic.

3-2. Effect of active oxygen scavenging (NBT method)

In order to measure the active oxygen scavenging effect of the mixed extracts of white porcine, obtusa, and Shiho of the present invention, a known method (Aruoma OI, Murcia A, Butler J, Halliwell B, Evaluation of the antioxidant and proxidant actions of gallic acid and its derivatives. J. Agri. Food Chem., 41 (11), pp. 1880-1885, 1993). First, 100 μl of 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.8), 100 μl of 10 mM xanthine (Sigma, USA) solution and 100 μl of 5 mM NBT (nitroblue tetrazolium, Sigma, USA) 10 [mu] l of the mixed extract of white porphyritis, Acanthopanax senticosus and Sepharose of the present invention were mixed. 100 μl of 0.3 units / ml xanthine oxidase (Sigma, USA) solution was added to each well, and the mixture was allowed to stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Then, using a spectrophotometer (UV-1800, Shimadzu Corp., Japan) Absorbance was measured. At this time, phosphoric acid buffer was used instead of xanthine oxidase to obtain color correction values for each. The active oxygen scavenging ability (%) was calculated by the following equation (2). L-ascorbic acid (Sigma, USA) and beta-carotene (Sigma, USA) were used as a control.

The results are shown in Table 3.
