Claims (12)
- 사용시에, 수직으로 신장하고, 그 상단부에는 가스를 위한 입구, 그 하단부에는 냉각 가스를 위한 출구가 제공되어 있으며, 하방을 향하는 가스 유동을 위한 통로를 규정하는 켄칭 용기로서,
상기 용기의 상단부에는 제 1 내부 관형 벽부가 제공되고, 이 제 1 내부 관형 벽부는 가스를 위한 입구와 유체 연통된 개구를 갖고, 상기 관형 벽부의 하단부에는 가스 유동을 위한 통로의 방향으로 외측으로 경사진 벽을 갖는 분기 원뿔부가 제공되며,
상기 가스 유동을 위한 통로 안으로 액체 켄칭 매체를 하방으로 분무 및 분사하기 위한 하나 이상의 노즐로 된 장치가 상기 분기 원뿔부로 둘러싸인 공간에 존재하는 켄칭 용기. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 1 내벽부 및/또는 분기 원뿔부의 벽은 수냉식 멤브레인 벽으로 설계된 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 분기 원뿔부의 벽의 표면과 수직 축선 사이의 각도는 3 °~ 30 °인 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 분기 원뿔부의 하단부에는 하부 개방 단부를 갖는 제 2 관형 내벽이 이어지고, 상기 하부 개방 단부는 냉각 가스를 위한 출구와 유체 연통되는 켄칭 용기.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 관형 내벽에는 하나 이상의 세척 장치가 제공되는 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 노즐의 출구 개구의 중앙과 분기 원뿔부의 벽 사이의 최소 수평 거리는 0.2 ~ 1 m 인 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 노즐은 통로 본체에 존재하는 액체 켄칭 매체를 위한 수직의 중앙 공급 통로를 포함하고, 상기 통로 본체는 그 하단부에서 외측 반경 방향 배출 개구를 가지고, 상기 반경 방향 배출 개구는 분무 가스를 위한 환형 통로와 유체 연통되고, 상기 환형 통로는 상기 중앙 통로 본체의 하단부에서 단일 출구 통로와 유체 연통되고, 상기 출구 통로는 노즐 본체의 내벽에 의해 규정되고, 상기 출구 통로의 하단부는 켄칭 매체와 분무 가스의 혼합물을 위한 분기 출구 개구로 끝나는 켄칭 용기.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 출구 통로의 하단부는, 사용시에 액체 켄칭 매체 및 분무 가스의 원뿔 형상 분사물이 가스의 유동 경로에서 배출되도록 하방으로의 분기 내벽을 갖는 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 켄칭 매체를 주입하기 위해 액체를 하방으로 분무 및 분사하기 위한 하나 이상의 노즐로 된 장치는 켄칭 용기의 벽으로부터 분기 원뿔부의 벽에 있는 개구를 통과하여 중앙 위치까지 연장하는 반경방향으로 배치된 다수의 아암을 포함하고, 상기 아암에는 하방을 향하는 하나 이상의 노즐이 제공되는 켄칭 용기.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 용기의 하단부는 냉각 가스를 위한 출구로서 중앙 개구로 끝나는 테이퍼진 단부를 갖는 켄칭 용기.
- 합성 가스가 용기를 하방으로 통과하고, 용기가 가스의 방향에 있어서 외측으로 경사진 벽을 갖는 분기 원뿔부를 갖고, 분기 원뿔부를 통과함에 따라 상기 가스에는 액체 수적의 안개가 하방으로 주입되는 용기에서, 500 ~ 900 ℃ 의 온도 및 1 ~ 10 MPa 의 압력을 갖는 상기 합성 가스를 200 ~ 600 ℃ 의 온도로 켄칭하기 위한 공정으로서, 주입되는 물의 양은 용기를 떠나는 합성 가스가 40 ~ 60 vol.% 의 물을 포함하도록 선택되는 공정.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항에 기재된 켄칭 용기에서 실행되는 공정.
