Claims (6)
- 제1 기판, 제2 기판, 상기 제1 기판 및 상기 제2 기판에 구비되는 편광판, 상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 배치하는 액정층, 및 상기 제1 기판에 구비되는 화소 전극 및 공통 전극을 갖고,상기 액정층은 광학적 등방 상태로부터 전압 인가에 의해 광학적 이방성이 생기는 성질을 갖고,상기 화소 전극 및 상기 공통 전극 중 한쪽은 빗살 무늬형으로 형성되고, 다른쪽은 평판형으로 형성되고,상기 화소 전극과 상기 공통 전극 사이에 생기는 전위차에 의해 상기 액정층에 전계를 인가하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 기판은 매트릭스형으로 배치되는 복수의 화소를 갖고, 상기 복수의 화소마다 상기 화소 전극, 상기 공통 전극, 및 박막 트랜지스터를 배치하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 기판은 보호막을 갖고, 상기 보호막은 상기 제1 기판에 배치되는 전극 중 상기 액정층에 가장 가까운 전극과 상기 액정층 사이에 배치하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 기판에 표면막을 배치하고, 상기 표면막은 상기 액정층의 면에 접하도록 배치하며 400 ㎚ 이하 크기의 주기적 구조를 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 화소 전극은 빗살 무늬형으로 형성되고, 상기 공통 전극은 평판형으로 형성되며, 상기 복수의 화소 각각에 있어서 상기 화소 전극은 88도 이상 92도 이하 방향의 상이한 2개의 빗살 무늬 형상을 갖는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액정층은 열가교 반응에 의해 얻어지는 액정 표시 장치.
