Claims (5)
- 데이터를 기억하는 복수의 기억 장치와;메인 프레임계 상위와 오픈계 상위의 액세스 지시에 따라 상기 기억 장치를 액세스하는 복수의 제어 모듈과;상기 메인 프레임계 상위와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 제2 채널 어댑터와;상기 제2 채널 어댑터와 상기 복수의 제어 모듈에 접속되고, 상기 제2 채널 어댑터와 상기 복수의 제어 모듈의 접속을 선택적으로 전환하는 스위치 유닛을 구비하고,상기 제어 모듈의 각각은,상기 기억 장치에 기억된 데이터의 일부를 저장하는 캐시 메모리와,상기 오픈계 상위와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 제1 채널 어댑터와,상기 복수의 기억 장치와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 디스크 어댑터와,상기 액세스에 따라서 캐시 메모리의 제어를 행하는 동시에, 상기 디스크 어댑터를 통해 상기 기억 장치를 액세스하는 제어 유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 스토리지 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 채널 어댑터는 상기 메인 프레임계 상위로부터의 기록 액세스에 따라서 상기 스위치 유닛을 통해 상기 기록 액세스의 대상이 되는 기록 데이터를 담당하는 제어 모듈과, 상기 담당 제어 모듈의 미러 데이터를 갖는 다른 제어 모듈에 병행되게 액세스하여 미러링하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 스토리지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 담당 제어 모듈은 상기 제어 모듈 내의 캐시 메모리에 대상이 되는 기록 데이터 블록이 존재하는지를 판정하고, 상기 대상 기록 데이터 블록이 존재하지 않는 기록 미스라고 판정한 경우에, 상기 담당 제어 모듈과 상기 다른 제어 모듈이 상기 대상 데이터 블록을 기억하는 기억 장치를 액세스하여 상기 대상 데이터 블록을 판독하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 스토리지 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 채널 어댑터는 상기 메인 프레임계 상위의 프로토콜에 따라 상기 메인 프레임계 상위의 액세스 시작부터 액세스 종료까지 상기 메인 프레임계 상위와 접속하고, 상기 제1 채널 어댑터는 상기 오픈계 상위와의 프로토콜에 따라 상기 오픈계 상위의 상기 액세스를 수신하여 상기 오픈계 상위와의 접속을 분리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 스토리지 시스템.
- 메인 프레임계 상위와 오픈계 상위의 액세스 지시에 따라 데이터를 기억하는 복수의 기억 장치를 액세스하는 복수의 제어 모듈과;상기 메인 프레임계 상위와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 제2 채널 어댑터와;상기 제2 채널 어댑터와 상기 복수의 제어 모듈에 접속되고, 상기 제2 채널 어댑터와 상기 복수의 제어 모듈의 접속을 선택적으로 전환하는 스위치 유닛을 구비하고,상기 제어 모듈의 각각은,상기 기억 장치에 기억된 데이터의 일부를 저장하는 캐시 메모리와,상기 오픈계 상위와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 제1 채널 어댑터와,상기 복수의 기억 장치와의 인터페이스 제어를 행하는 디스크 어댑터와,상기 액세스에 따라서 캐시 메모리의 제어를 행하는 동시에, 상기 디스크 어댑터를 통해 상기 기억 장치를 액세스하는 제어 유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 스토리지 제어 장치.
