Claims (8)
- 적어도 1.8의 굴절률과 0.005 내지 5 마이크론(micron)의 평균입자 직경을 가지는 안료입자; 실란 잔기를 통해 상기 안료 입자의 표면에 부착된 제1 폴리머; 및 상기 제1 폴리머를 부착하고 있는 상기 안료입자를 실질적으로 캡슐화하는 제2 폴리머를 포함하는 불투명 입자(opacifying particles).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안료입자가 티타늄 디옥사이드를 포함하는 불투명 입자.
- 적어도 1.8의 굴절률과 0.005 내지 5 마이크론(micron)의 평균입자 직경을 가지는 안료입자를 제공하고; 실란잔기를 통해 상기 안료 입자의 표면에 제1 폴리머를 부착시키며; 및 상기 제1 폴리머를 부착하고 있는 상기 안료입자를 실질적으로 제2 폴리머에 의해 실질적으로 캡슐화시키는 것을 포함함을 특징으로 하여 불투명 입자를 형성하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제1 폴리머를 부착하고 있는 상기 안료 입자가 수성 분산 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 제1 폴리머가 부착된 상기 안료입자의 존재하에, 적어도 하나의 에틸렌적으로 불포화된 모노머를 에멀전 폴리머화에 의해 캡슐화시키는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 알칼리 실리케이트 용액 또는 알칼리 알루미네이트 용액의 존재하에서 실란 잔기를 통해 상기 안료 입자의 표면에 상기 제1 폴리머를 부착시키는 방법.
- 제1항의 불투명입자를 포함하는 도료 조성물.
- 제1항의 불투명입자를 포함하는 플라스틱 조성물.
