Claims (4)
- 중공의 머플러 본체(15) 내부를 구획 부재(19)에 의해 제1 배기실(16) 및 제2 배기실(17)로 구획하는 동시에, 이 구획 부재(19)에 제3 배기실(18)을 형성하고, 엔진(E)의 배출 가스를 제1 배기실(16)로 도입하는 배기 입구(25)를 머플러 본체(15)에 마련하고, 제1 및 제2 배기실(16, 17) 사이를 연통하는 제1 연통 구멍(31)과, 제2 배기실(17)을 제3 배기실(18)에 연통시키는 제2 연통 구멍(32)을 구획 부재(19)에 마련하고, 제3 배기실(18)을 배기 출구관(35)을 통해 대기에 개방하고, 구획 부재(19)의 제1 및 제2 배기실(16, 17)에 면하는 외표면 및 제3 배기실(18)에 면하는 내표면에 배기 정화용 촉매(37)를 담지하고, 머플러 본체(15)의 내면은 배기 정화용 촉매의 비담지면으로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진용 배기 정화 기능을 구비한 배기 머플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 배기실(16)에는, 배기 입구(25)에서 제1 배기실(16)로 유입된 배출 가스를 확산시키는 제1 확산판(26)을 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진용 배기 정화 기능을 구비한 배기 머플러.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 제2 배기실(17)에는, 제1 연통 구멍(31)에서 제2 배기실(17)로 유입된 배출 가스를 확산시키면서 제3 배기실(18) 측으로 유도하는 제2 확산판(27)을 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진용 배기 정화 기능을 구비한 배 기 머플러.
- 제1항에 있어서, 배기 출구관(35)의 내면은 배기 정화용 촉매의 비담지면으로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진용 배기 정화 기능을 구비한 배기 머플러.
