Description
Claims (10)
- 통신시스템의 패킷 전송 방법에 있어서,상위 계층으로부터 서비스 품질에 대한 정보와 데이터율 정보를 제공받는 과정과,하위 계층으로부터 무선단말들의 채널 상태 정보를 제공받는 과정과,상기 제공받은 정보들에 따라 집합패킷을 생성하여 매체접근제어 계층으로 전송하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 집합패킷을 생성하는 과정은,무선 단말들의 채널상태 정보와 데이터 생성율에 따라 큐에 저장된 패킷을 파라미터화 하는 단계와,상기 파라미터화된 정보를 이용하여 패킷들을 그룹화 하고, 미리 설정된 집합 방식에 따라 집합패킷을 생성하는 단계와,상기 생성된 집합패킷을 매체접근제어 계층으로 전송하는 단계를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,서비스 품질에 대한 정보가 동일한 패킷들은 동일한 그룹으로 그룹화 됨을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제2황에 있어서, 상기 미리 설정된 집합방식은신뢰성있는 무선채널 상태를 가지는 무선단말들을 위한 패킷들은 멀티캐스트 집합 방식을 이용함을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 집합패킷은멀티캐스트 주소정보, 집합된 데이터의 개수 정보를 가지는 제어정보 영역과, 목적지 주소 정보, 데이터 길이 정보, 데이터를 가지는 복수의 데이터 영역을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 상기 방법.
- 통신시스템의 패킷 전송 장치에 있어서,서비스 품질에 대한 정보와 데이터율 정보를 제공하는 상위계층 디바이스와,무선단말들의 채널 상태 정보를 제공하는 하위계층 디바이스와,상기 제공받은 정보들에 따라 집합패킷을 생성하여 하위 계층으로 전송하는 집합모듈을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 집합모듈은무선 단말들의 채널상태 정보와 데이터 생성율에 따라 큐에 저장된 패킷을 파라미터화 하는 패킷분석기와,상기 파라미터화된 정보를 이용하여 패킷들을 그룹화 하고, 미리 설정된 집합 방식에 따라 패킷의 멀티캐스트 집합 또는 유니캐스트 집합을 결정하는 집합분석기와,상기 집합분석기의 결정에 따라 멀티캐스트 집합패킷 또는 유니캐스트 집합패킷을 생성하는 집합패킷 생성기를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,서비스 품질에 대한 정보가 동일한 패킷들은 동일한 그룹으로 그룹화 됨을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 미리 설정된 집합방식은신뢰성있는 무선채널 상태를 가지는 무선단말들을 위한 패킷들은 멀티캐스트 집합 방식을 이용함을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 집합패킷은멀티캐스트 주소정보, 집합된 데이터의 개수 정보를 가지는 제어정보 영역과, 목적지 주소 정보, 데이터 길이 정보, 데이터를 가지는 복수의 데이터 영역을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 상기 장치.
