- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 박리가능한 박은 금속 박, 플라스틱 박 또는 종이 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 박리가능한 박은 종이 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드.
- 유연하고 점착가능한 열 및 음향 절연용 실드를 제조하는 방법에 있어서,(1) 결합용 섬유들(45)의 대향하는 결합층들(41, 42) 사이에 배치되는 절연용 섬유들(44)의 절연층(43)을 가지는 꿰메어진 유연한 섬유질 배트(40)를 형성하는 단계와;(2) 상기 각 결합층(41, 42)의 결합용 섬유들(45)이 절연층(43)과 대향하는 결합층(41, 42)을 통해 꿰매어져 배치되어 상기 배트(40)의 솔 모양의 상부면(47) 및 솔 모양의 하부면(48)을 형성하기 위하여 상기 대향하는 결합층(41, 42)로부터 돌출하는 결합용 섬유들(45)의 솔들(46)을 제공하게끔 상기 배트(40)을 꿰매는 단계와;(3) 상기 배트(40)의 상 하부면들(47, 48)상의 솔들(46)이 접착제에 의해 그 표면들에 고착되게끔 실질적으로 배트(40)의 상부면(47) 및 하부면(48) 위에 연성 접착제(50)를 가하여 접착하는 단계와;(4) 상기 접착제(50)에 의해 상기 배트의 하부면(48)에 유연한 보호박(51)을 가하여 영구적으로 접착하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 실드가 상기 상부면(47)을 차폐되어질 물체(1)에 영구적으로 부착하도록 평평하게 압착될 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 한 열 및 음향 절연용 실드.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 상부면(47)상의 접착제(50)가 압력 반응성 접착제이며, 유연하고 박리가능한 박(52)가 그것을 제거함으로써 상부면(47)상의 압력 반응성 접착제(50)가 노출되게끔 압력 반응성 접착제(50)에 의해 배트(40)의 상부면(47)에 분리가능하게 접착되도록 하는 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 배트는 약 0.1 내지 3 인치의 두께를 가지며, 각 결합층에 대한 절연층의 중량비는 0.5 내지 12.0 : 1인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 각 결합층의 중량이 실질적으로 동일한 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 절연용 섬유들이 무기섬유인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 25 항에 있어서,상기 절연용 섬유들이 유리섬유인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 결합용 섬유들이 유기섬유인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 27 항에 있어서,상기 유기섬유들이 폴리에스테르 섬유, 나일론 섬유, 올레핀 섬유 및 셀룰로우스 아세테이트인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 꿰매어져 배치된 결합용 섬유들이 배트의 평방인치 당 약 500 내지 10,000 바늘구멍들의 꿰매기 밀도를 가지며, 상기 배트의 상부면과 하부면 상에 배트의 평방인치 당 약 500 내지 10,000개의 솔들이 존재하는 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 29 항에 있어서,상기 상부면 및 하부면 상에 평방인치 당 약 700 내지 5,000 개의 솔들이 존재하는 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,상기 접착제는 아크릴레이트를 함유하는 압력 반응성 접착제인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 31 항에 있어서,상기 아크릴레이트는 메타아크릴레이트 및 에씨아크릴레이트로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 것인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 보호박은 약 2 mils 내지 100 mils 의 두께를 가지는 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 33 항에 있어서,상기 두께는 약 10 mils 내지 50 mils인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 보호박은 금속 박 또는 플라스틱 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 35 항에 있어서,상기 보호박은 알루미늄 박 또는 폴리에스테르 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,상기 박리가능한 박은 약 1 mils 내지 50 mils 의 두께를 가지는 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.

- 제 38 항에 있어서,상기 박리가능한 박은 금속 박, 플라스틱 박 또는 종이 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 박리가능한 박은 종이 박인 열 및 음향 절연용 실드의 제조방법.
- 열적 및 음향적으로 보호되어질 대상물에 청구항 1에 기재된 바의 실드를 적용하는 방법에 있어서,(1) 상기 접착제(50)를 상부면(47)상에 노출시키는 단계와;(2) 보호되어질 대상물(91)의 외형(90)에 실드를 구성하도록 보호박(51)에서 배트(40)를 압착하여 상기 상부면(47)상의 접착제(50)가 상기 외형(90)에 영구적으로 접착되게 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 실드 적용방법.
- 제 41 항에 있어서,유연한 박리가능한 박(52)을 제거함으로써 배트(40)의 상부면(47)상의 접착제(50)가 노출되게끔 상기 박리가능한 박(52)이 상기 접착제(50)에 의해 분리가능하게 접착되도록 하는 실드 적용방법.
- 제 41 항에 있어서,상기 보호박에서의 압착은 수동식 압착인 실드 적용방법.
- 제 43 항에 있어서,상기 (1) 단계에 앞서, 상기 실드가 대상물의 외형과 일치하도록 선형성 단계를 거치도록 하는 실드 적용방법.
