Description
Claims (41)
- 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩 및 성좌 매핑(constellation mapping)하여 생성되는 심볼의 시퀀스를 전송한 채널의 품질을 측정하는 채널 품질 측정 장치로서,품질이 측정되는 채널을 통해 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스에 대한 심볼 디매핑을 수행하여 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 생성하는 심볼 디매퍼(symbol demapper);상기 심볼 디매퍼에 의해 생성된 상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 소프트 디코더;상기 소프트 디코더에 의해 생성된 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩할 때 사용된 코드와 동일한 코드를 이용하여 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 재인코딩하여 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 인코더; 및상기 심볼 디매퍼의 출력으로부터 직접 나온 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스와 상기 인코더에 의해 생성된 상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스와 상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스 간의 상관을 결정하여 채널 품질 표시기 출력을 생성하는 상관기를 포함하며,상기 장치는, 적절한 코딩 레이트 및 변조를 결정하고 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스에 적용하는 데 사용하기 위한 상기 채널 품질 표시기를 송신기에 피드백하는, 채널 품질 측정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 심볼 디매퍼는 QPSK 심볼 디매핑을 수행하는, 채널 품질 측정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 심볼 디매퍼는 유클리드 거리 조건부 LLR 심볼 디매핑(Euclidean distance conditional LLR symbol demapping)을 수행하는, 채널 품질 측정 장치.
- 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩 및 성좌 매핑하여 생성되는 심볼의 시퀀스를 전송한 채널의 채널 품질을 측정하는 방법으로서,품질이 측정되는 채널을 통해 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 수신하는 단계;상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 심볼 디매핑하여 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩할 때 사용된 코드와 동일한 코드를 이용하여 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 재인코딩하여 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스와 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 상관시켜 채널 품질 표시기 출력을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스의 심볼 디매핑은 QPSK 심볼 디매핑인, 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스의 심볼 디매핑은 유클리드 거리 조건부 LLR 심볼 디매핑을 포함하는 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 인코딩되고 성좌 매핑된 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 포함하는 OFDM 심볼의 시퀀스를 전송한 OFDM 채널의 OFDM 채널 품질을 측정하는 방법으로서,품질이 측정되는 OFDM 채널을 통해 OFDM 심볼의 시퀀스를 수신하는 단계;상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 심볼 디매핑하여 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스에 관련된 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩할 때 사용된 코드와 동일한 코드를 이용하여 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 재인코딩하여 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스와 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 상관시켜 채널 품질 표시기 출력을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 OFDM 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스의 심볼 디매핑은 QPSK 심볼 디매핑인, OFDM 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스의 심볼 디매핑은 유클리드 거리 조건부 LLR 심볼 디매핑을 포함하는 OFDM 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계는, 상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 이력을 사용하는 단계와 상기 채널 상에 전송된 심볼의 시퀀스의 인코딩에 관한 정보를 사용하는 단계를 더 포함하는 OFDM 채널 품질 측정 방법.
- 통신 시스템으로서,소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩 및 성좌 매핑하여 생성되는 심볼의 시퀀스를 채널을 통해 전송하는 송신기; 및수신기를 포함하되,상기 수신기는,a) 상기 채널을 통해 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스에 대한 심볼 디매핑을 수행하여 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 생성하는 심볼 디매퍼;b) 상기 심볼 디매퍼에 의해 생성된 상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 소프트 디코더;c) 상기 소프트 디코더에 의해 생성된 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩할 때 사용된 코드와 동일한 코드로 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 재인코딩하여 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 인코더; 및d) 상기 심볼 디매퍼의 출력으로부터 직접 나온 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스와 상기 인코더에 의해 생성된 상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 입력으로 수신하고, 상기 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스와 상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스 간의 상관을 결정하여 채널 품질 표시기 출력을 생성하는 상관기를 포함하고,상기 수신기는 상기 채널 품질 표시기를 상기 송신기에 피드백하며,상기 송신기는 상기 채널 품질 표시기를 사용하여 적절한 코딩 레이트 및 변조를 결정하고 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스에 적용하는, 통신 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 심볼 디매퍼는 QPSK 심볼 디매핑을 수행하는, 통신 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 심볼 디매퍼는 유클리드 거리 조건부 LLR 심볼 디매핑을 수행하는, 통신 시스템.
- 적응형 변조 및 코딩 방법으로서,소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩 및 성좌 매핑하여 생성되는 심볼의 시퀀스를 채널을 통해 전송하는 단계;상기 채널을 통해 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 수신하는 단계;상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스를 심볼 디매핑하여 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 디코딩하여 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스를 인코딩할 때 사용된 코드와 동일한 코드를 이용하여 상기 디코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 재인코딩하여 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스를 생성하는 단계;상기 재인코딩된 출력 시퀀스와 버퍼링되지 않은 소프트 데이터 성분 결정의 시퀀스를 상관시켜 채널 품질 표시기 출력을 생성하는 단계;상기 채널 품질 표시기를 전송하는 단계; 및상기 채널 품질 표시기를 사용하여 적절한 코딩 레이트와 변조를 결정하고 상기 소스 데이터 성분 시퀀스에 적용하는 단계를 포함하는 적응형 변조 및 코딩 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 수신 심볼의 시퀀스의 상기 심볼 디매핑은 QPSK 심볼 디매핑인, 적응형 변조 및 코딩 방법.
