Claims (8)
- 절연 기판 상에 형성되고, 입력되는 마스터 클록에 기초하여 해당 마스터 클록보다 느린 주파수의 동작 클록을 생성하는 클록 생성 수단과,상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 기초하여 주파수가 상이한 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 발생하는 신호 발생 수단을 포함하고,상기 신호 발생 수단은,복수개의 시프트 레지스터가 종속 접속되어 이루어지며, 상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 동기하여 카운트 동작을 행하는 카운터부와,상기 복수개의 시프트 레지스터 각각으로부터 출력되는 시프트 펄스의 조합에 의해 상기 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 생성하는 신호 생성부를 구비하는것을 특징으로 하는 타이밍 발생 회로.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 카운터부는, 소정의 주기로 발생되는 시작 펄스에 응답하여 카운트 동작을 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 타이밍 발생 회로.
- 표시 장치로서,투명 절연 기판 상에 화소가 매트릭스 형상으로 배치되어 이루어지는 표시부와, 상기 투명 절연 기판 상에 상기 표시부와 함께 탑재되고, 기판 외부로부터 입력되는 마스터 클록에 동기하여 상기 표시부의 구동에 필요한 주파수가 상이한 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 발생하는 타이밍 발생 회로를 포함하며,상기 타이밍 발생 회로는,상기 마스터 클록에 기초하여 해당 마스터 클록보다도 느린 주파수의 동작 클록을 생성하는 클록 생성 수단과,상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 기초하여 상기 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 발생하는 신호 발생 수단을 구비하고,상기 신호 발생 수단은,복수개의 시프트 레지스터가 종속 접속되어 이루어지며, 상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 동기하여 카운트 동작을 행하는 카운터부와,상기 복수개의 시프트 레지스터 각각으로부터 출력되는 시프트 펄스의 조합에 의해 상기 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 생성하는 신호 생성부를 구비하는것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.

- 제4항에 있어서,상기 카운터부는, 소정의 주기로 발생되는 시작 펄스에 응답하여 카운트 동작을 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 타이밍 발생 회로는, 상기 투명 절연 기판 상에 저온 폴리실리콘 혹은 연속 입계 결정 실리콘을 이용하여 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 표시 장치를 화면 표시부로서 탑재한 휴대 단말기로서,상기 표시 장치는,투명 절연 기판 상에 화소가 매트릭스 형상으로 배치되어 이루어지는 표시부와, 상기 투명 절연 기판 상에 상기 표시부와 함께 탑재되고, 기판 외부로부터 입력되는 마스터 클록에 동기하여 상기 표시부의 구동에 필요한 주파수가 상이한 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 발생하는 타이밍 발생 회로를 포함하고,상기 타이밍 발생 회로는,상기 마스터 클록에 기초하여 해당 마스터 클록보다도 느린 주파수의 동작 클록을 생성하는 클록 생성 수단과,상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 기초하여 상기 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 발생하는 신호 발생 수단을 구비하고,상기 신호 발생 수단은,복수개의 시프트 레지스터가 종속 접속되어 이루어지며, 상기 클록 생성 수단에 의해 생성된 동작 클록에 동기하여 카운트 동작을 행하는 카운터부와,상기 복수개의 시프트 레지스터 각각으로부터 출력되는 시프트 펄스의 조합에 의해 상기 복수개의 타이밍 신호를 생성하는 신호 생성부를 구비하는것을 특징으로 하는 휴대 단말기.
