- 레이저광에 의해 주사되는 원주 형상의 트랙을 갖는 정보층을 적어도 1층 구비한 광 디스크에 있어서,상기 적어도 1층의 정보층은 복수 종류의 정보층에 관한 정보가 기록된 관리 영역을 구비하고,상기 관리 영역에 기록된 상기 복수 종류의 정보층에 관한 정보는, 상기 관리 영역을 갖는 정보층 이외의 복수 종류의 각 정보층의 유무를 나타내는 비트를 포함하고,상기 관리 영역에 그 유무가 기록되는 상기 복수 종류의 각 정보층은, 서로 기록 밀도가 다른 복수의 광 디스크 규격에 각각 준거한 것인것을 특징으로 하는 광 디스크.
