Claims (15)
- 디젤엔진 등의 내연기관 (1) 의 배기가스로부터 매연 입자를 제거하기 위한 방법으로서,배기가스는 집진요소 (5) 를 통해 공급되며, 배기가스는 상기 집진요소 (5) 를 통해 자유롭게 유동할 수 있지만 상기 집진요소는 다수의 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26), 와류생성 및 안정화 영역, 또는 다수의 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 및 와류 생성 및 안정화 영역을 구비하고, 집적된 입자가 제거될 때까지 배기가스 내에 존재하는 이산화질소와 반응할 수 있도록 오랜 기간 동안 적어도 일부 입자를 상기 집진요소 내에 유지시키거나 소용돌이시키는, 배기가스로부터의 매연 입자 제거방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 집진요소 (5) 는 환원제의 균일한 배분을 위한 혼합요소의 역할을 동시에 하며, 상기 환원제는 집진요소의 상류의 공급부 (4) 에서 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스로부터의 매연 입자 제거방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 입자는 배기가스의 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 에 의해 집진요소 (5) 의 벽에 충돌하여 다른 입자들과 고착하거나, 덩어리지거나, 또는 고착하여 덩어리지는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스로부터의 매연 입자 제거방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 각각의 경우에 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 각각에 의해, 배기가스에 여전히 포함되어 있는 입자 중의 2% 내지 15% 가 집진요소 (5) 의 벽에 충돌하며, 모든 입자를 벽에 충돌시킬 수 있는 개수의 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 를 설치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스로부터의 매연 입자 제거방법.
- 배기가스로부터 매연 입자를 제거하기 위한 집진요소 (5) 로서,이 집진요소 (5) 를 통해 배기가스가 유동하며, 상기 집진요소 (5) 는 유로 (13; 23) 를 구비하고, 이 유로를 통해 배기가스가 자유롭게 유동할 수 있고 상기 유로 (13; 23) 는 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 또는 와류생성 및 안정화 영역이 형성되도록 구성되는 집진요소.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 집진요소 (5) 는 시트 금속층 (11, 12; 21, 22) 으로 이루어진 하나 이상의 금속 벌집체를 포함하며, 상기 시트 금속층 (11, 12; 21, 22) 은, 적어도 부분적으로 배기가스를 자유롭게 통과시키며 장애물 또는 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 를 구비하는 유로 (13; 23) 가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 집진요소.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 편향체 (15, 16; 25, 26) 는, 각각의 경우에 배기가스에 여전히 포함되어 있는 입자 중의 2% 내지 15% 가 집진요소 (5) 의 벽에 충돌하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 집진요소.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 집진요소 (5) 의 유로 (13; 23) 의 벽 중의 적어도 일부는 산화알루미늄의 워시 코팅 등에 의해 코팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 집진요소.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 집진요소 (5) 는 원뿔형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 집진요소.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 하나 이상의 집진요소 (5) 를 사용하는 장치로서, 디젤엔진 등의 내연기관 (1) 의 배기라인 (2) 내에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 집진요소 (5) 를 사용하는 장치로서, 하나 이상의 상류 또는 하류의 첨가제 공급부와 함께 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 집진요소 (5) 를 사용하는 장치로서, 하나 이상의 촉매 (3, 6) 와 함께 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 집진요소 (5) 를 사용하는 장치로서, 질소가스 (NOx) 를 이산화질소 (NO2) 로 산화시키는 하나 이상의 상류 또는 하류 산화촉매 (3) 와 함께 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 집진요소 (5) 를 사용하는 장치로서, 엔진 가까이 장착되거나, 언더플로어 위치에 장착되거나, 또는 엔진 가까이 장착되며 언더플로어 위치에 장착되고, 하나 이상의 상류 또는 하류 과급기와 함께 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중의 어느 한 항에 따른 집진요소를 사용하는 장치로서, 상류에 배치된 산화촉매를 구비하는 상류 과급기와 함께 디젤엔진의 배기라인 내에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
