Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- (a) 하나 이상의 구성층을 구비하는 전지용 외장재(case); 및(b) 상기 전지용 외장재 표면 또는 상기 외장재의 구성층으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상 영역의 일부 또는 전부에 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속이 코팅되어 형성된 금속막을 포함하는 전지용 외장재.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 외장재는 캔(can) 또는 파우치(pouch) 형태인 외장재.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 파우치는 (a) 외부 피복층; (b) 금속박을 포함하는 배리어층; 및 내부 실란트층을 포함하는 것인 외장재.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 파우치 중 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속으로 코팅되는 부분은 배리어층(b) 중 금속박인 것이 특징인 외장재.
- 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 배리어층(b)의 금속박은 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금이며, 금속박의 두께는 20 내지 150㎛ 범위인 외장재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속의 성분은 니켈 또는 니켈 함유 합금인 외장재.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 니켈 함유 합금에 포함되는 금속은 Fe, Mn, In, Ag, Ge, Co로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상인 외장재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속이 코팅되어 형성된 금속막의 두께는 0.05 내지 100 ㎛ 범위인 외장재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속이 코팅되어 형성된 금속막의 강도는 800 내지 1400 ㎫ 범위인 외장재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 10 내지 50 ㎚의 그레인(grain)을 갖는 금속이 코팅되어 형성된 금속막은 전지의 성형 전 또는 성형 후 형성된 것이 특징인 외장재.
- 제 1항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 외장재는 이차 전지용인 것이 특징인 외장재.
- (a) 양극, 음극 및 이들 사이에 개재된 분리막을 조립하여 형성된 전지부;(b) 전해액; 및(c) 상기 전지부 및 전해액을 수용하는 제 1항 내지 제 10항 중 어느 한 항 의 외장재(case)를 구비하는 전지.
- (a) 니켈 전구체 또는 니켈 함유 합금 전구체 화합물을 용매에 용해시켜 용액을 형성하는 단계;(b) 상기 용액에 전지용 외장재 또는 상기 외장재를 구성하는 금속박을 침지시켜 코팅하는 단계; 및(c) 상기 코팅된 외장재 또는 금속박을 건조하는 단계를 포함하는 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전지용 외장재의 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 코팅된 금속박을 건조한 후, (d) 고분자 필름을 포함하는 외부 피복층, 상기 금속박을 포함하는 배리어층, 내부 실란트층을 순서대로 접착하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것이 특징인 제조방법.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (b)의 코팅법은 양극과 음극을 각각 이간시켜 대치시킨 후, 제조된 용액에 침지시키고 전류를 인가하는 도금법인 제조방법.
- 제 15항에 있어서, 상기 음극은 전지용 외장재 또는 상기 외장재를 구성하는 금속박이며, 양극은 니켈판 또는 불용성 기판인 제조방법.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (b)에서 용액의 온도는 30 내지 70℃ 범위인 제조방법.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (b)의 용액은 쿠마린, 티오우레아, 사카린 및 붕산으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 첨가제가 첨가된 것인 제조방법.
- 제 15항에 있어서, 상기 인가되는 전류 밀도는 5 내지 50A/cm2 범위인 제조방법.
- 제 15항에 있어서, 상기 양 전극 간의 거리는 5 내지 60mm 범위인 제조방법.
- 제 15항에 있어서, 상기 도금시 음극 상에 코팅되는 금속 그레인의 퇴적 속도는 1 내지 10㎛/분 범위인 제조방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 제조방법은 30 내지 270 ℃의 온도에서 열처리하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 제조방법.
