- 형질전환된 식물에 대해 이종성인 식물 중쇄 티오에스테라제 단백질을 발현시킴으로써, 형질전환된 식물 종자에서 중쇄 지방산을 생성시키는 방법으로서,식물 중쇄 티오에스테라제의 발현과 함께, 형질전환된 식물에 대해 이종성인 식물 합성효소 인자 단백질을 발현시키는 것을 포함하여, 식물 합성효소 인자 단백질과 식물 중쇄 티오에스테라제 단백질 둘 모두를 발현시키는 종자에서 생성되는 중쇄 지방산의 백분율을 식물 중쇄 티오에스테라제 단백질만을 발현시키는 종자에서 생성되는 중쇄 지방산의 백분율과 비교하여 증가시키고, 상기 중쇄 티오에스테라제 단백질은 ChFat B2 단백질, CpFat B1 단백질, 또는 Uc FatB1 단백질이고, 상기 합성효소 인자 단백질은 제 1항에 따른 DNA 구성물로부터 발현되는 방법.
