Claims (8)
- 자동차내의 발포쿠션저부(16)를 갖는 좌석(12)의 탑승자체중을 평가하는 장치에 있어서,상기 발포쿠션저부(16)내에 배치되고, 유체가 채워지며, 출구(22)를 갖는 밀폐된 탄성체의 주머니(20);상기 상기 출구(22)를 밀폐하고, 유체의 압력을 감지할수 있도록 상기 출구(22)와 연결되는 압력센서(26);상기 주머니(20)부근에서 온도를 감지하기 위한 온도센서(20); 및감지된 유체압력과 온도에 근거하여 탑승자의 체중을 평가하기 위한 제어수단(50);을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 압력센서(26)는 상기 유체압력과 대기압력사이의 압력차를 감지하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 압력센서(26)는 유체의 절대압력을 감지하도록 구성되고, 상기 제어수단(50)은 상기 대기압력을 검출하기 위한 절대압력검출센서(52)를 포함하며, 상기 탑승자 체중은 감지된 상기 유체압력과 대기압력사이의 차이에 근거하여 평가됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 압력센서(26)는 유체의 중력중심에서 유체압력을 감지하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 유체의 중력중심에 위치되는 입구와, 상기 압력센서(26)에 연결되는 출구를 갖는 관(66)을 포함하며, 상기 주머니(20)는 상기 입구와 출구사이에서 상기 관(66)둘레를 밀봉하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 온도센서(30)는 상기 압력센서(26)와 일체로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단(50)은 입력신호(54)를 에어백전개시스템에 제공하고, 상기 입력신호는 평가된 탑승자 체중을 근거로 하여 전개를 저지해야할지 허락해야 할지를 지시하는 것임을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단(50)은 에어백전개시스템에 동작상태신호를 제공하고, 그리고 상기 압력센서(26)의 출력값을 샘플링하고, 상기 온도센서(30)의 출력값에 근거하여 온도에 대한 상기 샘플링된 출력값을 보정하며, 한계 탑승자체중에 상응하는 한계신호와 상기 보정된 압력센서 출력값을 비교하는 수단(88);과상기 비교과정이 상기 평가된 탑승자 체중이 한계체중보다 적다는 것을 나타낼 때 에어백전개를 저지하는 값으로 상기 동작상태신호를 설정하고, 상기 비교과정이 상기 평가된 탑승자 체중이 한계체중보다 크다는 것을 나타낼 때 에어백의 전개를 허락하는 값으로 상기 동작상태신호를 설정하기 위한 수단(88);을 포함하도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 탑승자 체중평가장치.
