Claims (10)
- 스위치소자, 상기 스위치소자에 접속된 주사선 및 신호선, 및 상기 스위치소자에 접속된 화소전극을 갖는 스위치소자 어레이기판; 상기 주사선과 접속된 주사선 구동회로; 상기 신호선과 접속된 신호선 구동회로; 상기 스위치소자 어레이기판과 간격을 갖고 표시영역을 형성하도록 대향배치된 대향전극을 갖고, 상기 표시영역의 주위에 설치된 밀봉재에 의해서 상기 스위치 소자 어레이기판과 접합된 대향기판; 주위를 상기 밀봉재에 의해 밀봉하며, 상기 스위치소자 어레이기판과 상기 대향기판의 상기 간격에 끼워진 광변조층을 갖는 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 스위치소자 어레이기판은 상기 밀봉재이 하측의 상기 표시영역과 상기 주사선 구동회로 사이의 제1 영역 또는 상기 밀봉재이 하측의 상기 표시영역과 상기 신호선 구동회로 사이의 제2 영역중 어느 한쪽에 상기 제1 영역에 있어서의 상기 간격과 상기 제2 경역에 있어서의 상기 간격을 대략 같아지도록 조정하는 기판간격 조정수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 주사선 및 상기 신호선 중 적어도 어느 한쪽과 겹치도록 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 제1 절연막과 상기 신호선이 동일 재료로 이루어진 제1 조정층과의 적층구조를 갖고 상기 주사선상에 설치되며, 또 제2 절연막과 상기 주사선이 동일 재료로 이루어진 제2 조정층과이 적층 구조를 갖고 상기 신호선상에 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제1항 조정층은 상기 주사선에 대응하여 전기적으로 분리되어 있는 것은 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제2조정층은 상기 신호선에 대응하여 전기적으로 분리되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 주사선 또는 상기 신호선을 따라서 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 신호선과 동일 재료로 이루어진 제1조정층과 상기 주사선과 동일 재료로 이루어진 제2조정층과의 적층 구조를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 스위치소자 어레이기판의 상기 제1영역에 설치되며, 상기 신호선과 상기 신호선 구동회로를 전기적으로 접속하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 수위치소자 어레이기판의 상기 제2영역에 설치되며, 상기 주사선과 상기주사선 구동회로를 전기적으로 접속하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 스위치소자 어레이기판의 상기 제1영역 및 상기 제2영역에 설치되고, 상기 제1영역에 설치된 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 신호선과 상기 신호선 구동회로를 전기적으로 접속하고 있으며, 상기 제2영역에 설치된 상기 기판간격 조정수단은 상기 주사선과 상기 주자선 구동회로를 전기적으로 접속하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
