Claims (8)
- 複数の電池群を備えた電池モジュールであって、
前記電池群は、複数の単電池と、該複数の単電池を並列に接続する第1バスバーおよび第2バスバーとを有し、
前記単電池は、アルミニウムが主体の正極端子と、銅が主体の負極端子とを有し、
前記第1バスバーは、アルミニウムが主体とされ、前記電池群の前記複数の単電池の各々の前記正極端子に溶接接合部を介して接続され、
前記第2バスバーは、銅が主体とされ、前記電池群の前記複数の単電池の各々の前記負極端子に溶接接合部を介して接続され、
前記複数の電池群は、互いに隣接する一方の前記電池群の前記第1バスバーと他方の前記電池群の前記第2バスバーとが機械的接合部を介して接続されることで、直列に接続されていることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記単電池は、扁平角形の形状を有し、厚さ方向に沿う一端面の前記厚さ方向に直交する幅方向の一端と他端に、それぞれ、前記正極端子と前記負極端子が配置され、
前記電池群の前記複数の単電池は、複数の前記正極端子と、複数の前記負極端子とが、それぞれ、前記厚さ方向に沿って一列に並ぶように、向きを揃えて前記厚さ方向に積層させて配置され、
前記複数の電池群は、複数の前記正極端子と、複数の前記負極端子とが、前記厚さ方向に沿って交互に並ぶように、交互に反転させて前記厚さ方向に積層させて配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーは、前記厚さ方向を長手方向とし、前記幅方向を短手方向とする板状の形状を有し、前記厚さ方向および前記幅方向に直交する前記単電池の高さ方向において、それぞれ、複数の前記正極端子の端面と複数の前記負極端子の端面に前記溶接接合部を介して接合され、前記長手方向の互いに隣接する端部に前記機械的接合部を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1バスバーおよび前記第2バスバーは、前記長手方向の互いに隣接する端部に、前記単電池の前記幅方向の内側へ向けて延出した迂回部を有し、該迂回部において前記機械的接合部を介して接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1バスバーの前記迂回部と前記第2バスバーの前記迂回部は、少なくとも一方が前記端部よりも前記長手方向に延出し、前記機械的接合部において前記高さ方向に重なっていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記機械的接合部は、前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーを締結して接続するボルトとナットを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記機械的接合部は、前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーを挟持して接続するクリップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記機械的接合部は、前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーを貫通して塑性変形させられることで前記第1バスバーと前記第2バスバーを接続するリベットを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
