Claims (9)
- 基材となるNd−Fe−B系の焼結磁石に対して希土類元素Rを含む合金粉末を使用して粒界拡散処理を施した後、前記粒界拡散処理が施された前記焼結磁石の表面に存在する残渣物を除去し、
前記合金粉末は、RxAyBzで表され、
ただし、Rは、ScおよびYを含む希土類元素のうち少なくとも1つ以上、AはCaまたはLiであり、Bは不可避不純物であり、2≦x≦99であり、1≦y<xであり、0≦z<yであり、
前記残渣物の除去は、投射材を前記焼結磁石の表面に投射することによって実施される、焼結磁石の製造方法。 - 前記希土類元素Rは、DyおよびTbを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記焼結磁石は、冶具に取り付けられて前記粒界拡散処理が施されており、前記粒界拡散処理が施された後、前記冶具から取り外されることなく、前記残渣物が除去される、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記冶具は、カーボンから形成されている、請求項3に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記残渣物が除去される際、前記焼結磁石の形状に応じて、前記投射材の投射条件が変更され、
前記投射条件は、前記投射材の投射角度、投射時間および投射圧力のうち少なくとも1つ以上を含んでいる、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。 - 前記残渣物の除去の前後における前記焼結磁石の重量変化に少なくとも基づいて、前記焼結磁石の良否判定を実施する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記残渣物の除去の後における前記焼結磁石の表面画像に少なくとも基づいて、前記焼結磁石の良否判定が実施される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記良否判定の結果は、投射条件にフィードバックされ、
前記投射条件は、前記投射材の投射角度、投射時間および投射圧力のうち少なくとも1つ以上を含んでいる、請求項6又は請求項7に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。 - 前記良否判定において前記残渣物の除去が不十分であると判定された前記焼結磁石の表面に存在する残渣物は、再度の投射材の投射によって除去される、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
