Abstract
Description
本発明におけるポリアセタール樹脂(A)は、アセタール構造:−O−CRH−(ここで、Rは、水素原子、有機基を示す)を繰り返し単位に有する高分子であり、通常はRが水素原子であるオキシメチレン基(−OCH2−)を主たる構成単位とするものである。具体的には、ポリアセタール樹脂(A)中においてオキシメチレン基の含有量が50質量%以上であり、70質量%以上であることが好ましく、90質量%以上99.5質量%以下であることがより好ましい。本発明に用いるポリアセタール樹脂(A)は、前記オキシメチレン基以外の繰り返し構成単位を1種以上含むコポリマー(ブロックコポリマー)やターポリマー等を含み、更には線状構造のみならず、グリシジルエーテル化合物、エポキシ化合物、アリルエーテル化合物などをコモノマー及び/又はターモノマーに用いることで生成する分岐、架橋構造を有していてもよい。前記オキシメチレン基以外の構成単位としては、例えば、オキシエチレン基(−OCH2CH2−又は−OCH(CH3)−)、オキシプロピレン基(−OCH2CH2CH2−、−OCH(CH3)CH2−又は−OCH2CH(CH3)−)、オキシブチレン基(−OCH2CH2CH2CH2−、−OCH(CH3)CH2CH2−、−OCH2CH(CH3)CH2−、−OCH2CH2CH(CH3)−、−OCH(C2H5)CH2−又は−OCH2CH(C2H5)−)等の炭素数2以上10以下の、分岐していてもよいオキシアルキレン基が挙げられ、中でも炭素数2以上4以下の、分岐していてもよいオキシアルキレン基が好ましく、特にオキシエチレン基(−OCH2CH2−)が好ましい。またこの様な、オキシメチレン基以外のオキシアルキレン構成単位の含有量としては、ポリアセタール樹脂(A)中において0.1質量%以上であり、10.0質量%以下であることが好ましく、0.5質量%以上8.0質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
本発明における酸化亜鉛(B)は、製造方法に限定されないが、JIS K 1410−95、JIS K 8405−94の規格のもと生産される白色粉末である。工業的には、乾式法または湿式法で製造される白色粉末である。乾式法としては、フランス法とアメリカ法があり、おもにフランス法で生産されている。フランス法は溶融させた金属亜鉛をるつぼに投入して約1000℃に加熱し、発生する亜鉛蒸気を熱空気で酸化させ、これを空冷式空冷管で冷却し、サイクロン及びバグフィルターで分離、捕集する方法である。湿式法としては、主に2つの製法があり、塩化亜鉛溶液にソーダ灰溶液を加え、塩基性酸化亜鉛を沈殿させる方法と、水酸化亜鉛を生成させ、水洗乾燥後、か焼して製造する方法である。本発明においては、ポリアセタール樹脂組成物中の酸化亜鉛(B)の総表面積が特定の範囲になるように添加する限り、乾式法、湿式法、いずれの方法で製造される酸化亜鉛を用いることができ、その粒子径等にも特に制限はない。
本発明においては、ポリアミド樹脂(C)を添加することにより、ポリアセタール樹脂組成物の耐熱性、耐燃料性をさらに向上させることができる。本発明におけるポリアミド樹脂(C)は、分子中に2個以上のアミド結合を有する樹脂であり、ポリアミド樹脂(C)としては、例えばナイロン−6、ナイロン−6,6、ナイロン−6,10、これらの3元共重合体、重合脂肪酸系ポリアミド樹脂及びポリアミドエラストマー等が挙げられる。これらの中では、重合脂肪酸系ポリアミド樹脂又はポリアミドエラストマーが特に好ましい。これらのポリアミド樹脂は1種類を単独で用いても、2種類以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
融解温度又は軟化点も特に制限されるものではないが、70℃以上170℃以下であることが好ましい。融解温度又は軟化点が170℃以下であるのが、溶融混練時の分散性の点から好ましく、70℃以上であるのが、成形時のブリードの防止、及び金型汚染性(MD)の抑制の点から好ましい。
本発明におけるヒンダードアミン化合物(D)としては、N,N’,N”,N'''−テトラキス−(4,6−ビス−(ブチル−(N−メチル−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−4−イル)アミノ)−トリアジン−2−イル)−4,7−ジアザデカン−1,10−ジアミン、ジブチルアミン・1,3,5−トリアジン・N,N’−ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)−1,6−ヘキサメチレンジアミンとN−(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)ブチルアミンの重縮合物(BASF,Chimassorb(登録商標)2020 FDL)、ポリ[{6−(1,1,3,3−テトラメチルブチル)アミノ−1,3,5−トリアジン−2,4−ジイル}{(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)イミノ}ヘキサメチレン{(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)イミノ}]、コハク酸ジメチルと4−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−1−ピペリジンエタノールの重縮合物(BASF,Tinuvin(登録商標)622)、ビス(1,2,2,6,6−ペンタメチル−4−ピペリジル)[[3,5−ビス(1,1−ジメチルエチル)−4−ヒドリキシフェニル]メチル]ブチルマロネート、ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート(BASF,Tinuvin(登録商標)770)、ビス(1,2,2,6,6−ペンタメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート、及び1−[2−[3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオニルオキシ]エチル]−4−[3−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオニルオキシ]−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジンが挙げられる。その中でも、ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート、ビス(1,2,2,6,6−ペンタメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート及びコハク酸ジメチルと4−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−1−ピペリジンエタノールの重縮合物が好ましい。上記したヒンダードアミン化合物は、1種類を単独で用いても、2種類以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。本発明においては、ヒンダードアミン化合物は、高温下においてディーゼル燃料中で生成される分解成分(カルボン酸、過酸化物など)や、ポリアセタール樹脂由来の分解成分(ホルムアルデヒド、ギ酸など)をトラップし、ポリアセタール樹脂の劣化を防止する効果とともに耐熱性の向上にも効果を示すと考えられる。
本発明においては、カルボジイミド化合物、オキサゾリン化合物、及びエポキシ化合物からなる群から選択される1種類又は2種類以上の化合物(E)を、酸化亜鉛(B)と併用できる。これらの化合物を添加することにより、ポリアセタール樹脂組成物の耐燃料性及び/又は耐金型汚染性(MD)を更に向上させることができる。
また、本願発明を実施するとき、本発明のポリアセタール樹脂組成物には、本来の目的を損なわない範囲内で、ヒンダードフェノール化合物、アミノ置換トリアジン化合物、リン系安定剤、アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属の水酸化物、酸化物、アルコキシド、脂肪酸塩、無機酸塩を添加することができる。
本発明のポリアセタール樹脂組成物の製造方法は、特に限定されるものではなく、上記したポリアセタール樹脂(A)、酸化亜鉛(B)、及び必要に応じて添加されるその他の成分を、任意の順序で混合、混練することによって製造できる。混合・混練の温度、圧力等の条件は、従来公知のポリアセタール樹脂組成物の製造方法にしたがって適宜選択すればよい。例えば、混練はポリアセタール樹脂(A)の溶融温度以上で行えばよく、通常は180℃以上260℃以下で行うのが好ましい。ポリアセタール樹脂組成物の製造装置も特に限定されるものではなく、従来からこの種の樹脂組成物の製造に用いられている混合、混練装置などを用いることができる。
実施例又は比較例で得られた樹脂組成物を試験管に入れ、窒素置換後10Torr減圧下で240℃、1時間加熱し、重量減少率を求めた。重量減少率が小さいほどポリアセタールの分解が少なく、耐熱性が高い。
実施例又は比較例で得られた樹脂組成物を用いて射出成形により小型試験片(長さ62mm、幅4mm、厚さ1mm)を作製した。得られた試験片をディーゼル燃料(Haltermann製 RF−90−A−92)に浸漬させ、90℃で672時間加熱して試験した。672時間経過後に試験片を取り出し、重量減少率を求めた。重量減少率が小さいほど耐燃料性が高い。
スクリュープリプラ型射出成型機(住友重機械製ミニマット)、及び雫金型を用いて、成形温度230℃、金型温度35℃で4000ショット連続成形し、終了後、金型の付着物(モールドデポジット)の状態を観察し、金型汚染が少ないものから金型汚染が多いものを順に4段階(◎、○、△、×)の基準で評価した。
本発明におけるpHはJIS K 5101−17−1に基づいて測定した。また、BET比表面積はN2吸着法により測定した。
(A)ポリアセタール樹脂100質量部[phr]に対して、(B)酸化亜鉛、(C)ポリアミド樹脂、(D)ヒンダードアミン化合物、(E)カルボジイミド化合物、オキサゾリン化合物、又はエポキシ化合物を表1〜3に示す割合で添加し、二軸押出機を用いて210〜230℃、21.3kPaの減圧下で溶融混練した。得られたペレットを前記評価法にて評価した。尚、表1〜3中の記号は下記の通りである。また、(B)酸化亜鉛の物性に関しては、表4に示した。

- ポリアセタール樹脂(A)及び酸化亜鉛(B)を含むポリアセタール樹脂組成物であって、ポリアセタール樹脂(A)中のオキシメチレン基以外のオキシアルキレン構成単位の含有量が、0.1質量%以上であり;かつポリアセタール樹脂組成物中の酸化亜鉛(B)の総表面積が、ポリアセタール樹脂(A)100gに対して0.1〜40m2である、ポリアセタール樹脂組成物。
- ポリアセタール樹脂(A)中のオキシメチレン基以外のオキシアルキレン構成単位の含有量が、10.0質量%以下である、請求項1に記載のポリアセタール樹脂組成物。

- カルボジイミド化合物、オキサゾリン化合物、及びエポキシ化合物からなる群から選択される1種類又は2種類以上の化合物(E)を、前記ポリアセタール樹脂(A)100質量部に対して0.01〜3.0質量部含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のポリアセタール樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のポリアセタール樹脂組成物を成形して得られる、成形体。
- ディーゼル燃料と接触する部品である、請求項8に記載の成形体。
