Claims (12)
- 外部端子と電池容器内の電極との間の電流経路に電流遮断機構を備えた二次電池であって、
前記電流遮断機構は、前記電池容器内に収容され、前記外部端子に接続されたダイヤフラムと前記電極に接続された集電板とを備え、
前記集電板は、前記ダイヤフラムに対向する面に凹部を有し、
前記ダイヤフラムは、中央部が周縁部よりも前記集電板に向けて膨出した底壁部と当該底壁部から突出する突起部を有し、少なくとも当該底壁部の一部が前記凹部に収容され、前記突起部は前記凹部内で前記集電板に接合されることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記凹部は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記底壁部に沿う傾斜面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記傾斜面は、前記底壁部に沿う凹曲面を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記凹部は、段差部を有し、周縁部から前記ダイヤフラムが接合された接合部に向けて漸次深くなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記凹部は、前記ダイヤフラムが前記集電板から離れる方向に変形する際に破断する脆弱部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記脆弱部は、前記凹部に形成された切り欠き部によって設けられ、
前記ダイヤフラムは、前記脆弱部によって囲まれた接合部に接合されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。 - 前記ダイヤフラムは、前記集電板よりも前記電池容器の外方側に配置され、
前記外部端子は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記電池容器の外方側の空間と前記電池容器の外部空間とを連通する貫通孔を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記外部端子と前記ダイヤフラムとの間に、該ダイヤフラムの周縁部が接合される導電板を備え、
前記外部端子は、前記電池容器と前記導電板を貫通する接続部を有し、
前記接続部は、前記導電板の前記電池容器の内方を向く面で拡径されたかしめ部と、前記導電板と前記ダイヤフラムとの間の空間に連通する前記貫通孔とを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の二次電池。 - 前記集電板および前記導電板と、前記電池容器との間に絶縁部材が配置され、
前記絶縁部材は、前記集電板と前記電池容器との間の厚肉部の厚さよりも、前記導電板と前記電池容器との間の薄肉部の厚さが薄いことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の二次電池。 - 前記集電板は、前記絶縁部材に固定された基部と、該基部に連結部を介して接続された破断部とを有し、
前記破断部は、前記基部よりも前記電池容器の内方側に配置され、前記電池容器の外方側を向く面に前記凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の二次電池。 - 前記導電板は、前記ダイヤフラムの前記周縁部が係合する環状溝を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ダイヤフラムは、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金によって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
