Abstract
Description
実施例1
活性炭(クラレケミカル株式会社製YP−17)と、スチレンブタジエンゴムバインダと、導電剤としてのケッチェンブラックとを、8:1:1の質量比で水に分散し、攪拌機で混合してスラリーを得た。得られたスラリーを、黒鉛を含む導電性接着層を備えたアルミニウム箔に所定厚みで塗布し、乾燥させた。次いで、乾燥後のシートを3×4cm2の面積となるように打ち抜き、ロールプレス機でプレスすることにより、正極を得た。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を2.7(チタン酸リチウムの利用率37%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を2.2(チタン酸リチウムの利用率45%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を5.0(チタン酸リチウムの利用率20%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を7.0(チタン酸リチウムの利用率14%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を1.8(チタン酸リチウムの利用率56%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。
実施例6
実施例1において用いたミクロンオーダーのチタン酸リチウム粒子を、エタノールを分散媒としてビーズミルにより湿式粉砕し、平均粒径35nmのナノ粒子を得た。ナノ粒子の平均粒径はSEM写真による観察から導出した。そして、上記ミクロンオーダーのチタン酸リチウムの代わりに平均粒径35nmのナノ粒子を用いて、実施例1の手順を繰り返した。得られた電気化学キャパシタにおける正極における活性炭の質量と負極におけるチタン酸リチウムの質量は、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率が3.7(チタン酸リチウムの利用率27%)になるように調整した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を2.7(チタン酸リチウムの利用率37%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例6の手順を繰り返した。
アルミニウム箔に塗布するチタン酸リチウム含有スラリーの厚みを調整することにより、チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量の活性炭の100%放電容量に対する倍率を2.2(チタン酸リチウムの利用率45%)に調整したことを除いて、実施例6の手順を繰り返した。

Claims (2)
- 活性炭を含む正極活物質層を有する正極と、
スピネル型のチタン酸リチウムを含む負極活物質層を有する負極と、
前記正極活物質層と前記負極活物質層との間に配置されたリチウム塩を含有する非水電解液を保持したセパレータと、
を備えた電気化学キャパシタであって、
チタン酸リチウムの100%放電容量が、活性炭の100%放電容量の2.2〜7.0倍であることを特徴とする電気化学キャパシタ。 - 前記チタン酸リチウムがナノ粒子である、請求項1に記載の電気化学キャパシタ。
