Claims (10)
- 外光の照度に応じて起電力を出力する光電素子と、少なくとも1つの自発光素子が配置された発光装置と、前記発光装置を駆動制御するための駆動回路とが備えられ、
前記駆動回路に備えられた論理回路には、前記光電素子からの出力電圧値を制限する電圧安定化回路を介して論理回路への駆動電源として供給されると共に、前記自発光素子には前記電圧安定化回路を介さずに前記光電素子より自発光素子への駆動電源として供給されるように構成され、前記自発光素子は外光の照度に応じた輝度で発光されることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記光電素子の出力は、昇圧回路を介して前記自発光素子への駆動電源として供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された表示装置。
- 前記光電素子は、それぞれが光電変換機能を果たす単位素子の直列接続体により構成され、前記直列接続体のうちの一部の単位素子による出力を、前記電圧安定化回路を介して論理回路への駆動電源として供給するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された表示装置。
- 前記発光装置は、互いに交差する複数の陽極線及び複数の陰極線の各交点に自発光素子を備えるパッシブマトリクス型発光表示パネルであり、前記光電素子の出力は、自発光素子への駆動電源として前記パッシブマトリクス型表示パネルにおける前記陽極線に選択的に供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された表示装置。
- 前記発光装置は、互いに交差する複数の陽極線及び複数の陰極線の各交点に自発光素子を備えるパッシブマトリクス型発光表示パネルであり、前記光電素子の出力は、自発光素子への駆動電源として前記パッシブマトリクス型表示パネルにおける前記陽極線に選択的に供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載された表示装置。
- 前記光電素子の出力は、逆バイアス電源として、前記パッシブマトリクス型表示パネルにおける前記陰極線に選択的に供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載された表示装置。
- 前記光電素子の出力は、逆バイアス電源として、前記パッシブマトリクス型表示パネルにおける前記陰極線に選択的に供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載された表示装置。
- 前記発光装置は、互いに交差する複数のデータ線及び複数の走査線の各交点に、自発光素子と能動素子を含む画素を備えたアクティブマトリクス型発光表示パネルであり、前記光電素子の出力は、自発光素子への駆動電源として画素を構成する自発光素子と前記能動素子との直列回路にそれぞれ供給されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された表示装置。
- 前記光電素子は、太陽電池セルであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された表示装置。
- 前記光電素子は、太陽電池セルであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載された表示装置。
