Abstract
Description
本実施例は、ある特定の組成において積層セラミックコンデンサを作製し、R1とR2の結晶粒子の固溶状態がDCバイアス下における誘電率に与える影響をみたものである。実験組成は、100Ba1.00TiO3+0.5Sm+1.0Y+0.1Mn+1.2Mg+1.2Siである。試料は試料番号1〜4の4つである。

- 一般式ABO3で表されるペロブスカイト型化合物(AはBaを含み、または、CaおよびSrからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種とBaを含み、BはTiを含み、または、ZrおよびHfからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種とTiを含む)を主成分とし、副成分としてR1(R1はLa、Nd、Sm、GdおよびDyからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種である)、およびR2(R2はY、Ho、ErおよびYbからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種である)を含む組成を有し、かつ、結晶粒子と結晶粒界とを備える誘電体セラミックにおいて、
前記ABO3100モル部に対するR1の総含有量をαモル部、R2の総含有量をβモル部とするとき、
前記結晶粒子の断面を観察したとき、前記結晶粒子の表面から前記結晶粒子の内部に向かって10nm以上離れた点におけるR1の濃度がα/2以上、R2の濃度がβ/5未満(0を含む)である前記結晶粒子が全体の60%以上である、誘電体セラミック。 - 前記結晶粒子の断面を観察したとき、前記結晶粒子の表面から前記結晶粒子の内部に向かって10nm以上離れた点において、R2が実質的に存在せず、かつ、R2が結晶粒界にのみ存在する、請求項1に記載の誘電体セラミック。
- 前記ABO3が、一般式:(Ba1-xCax)m(Ti1-yZry)O3であり、かつ、副成分としてさらにM1(M1はV、CrおよびMnからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種である)、M2(M2はMg、Ni、MoおよびWからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種である)およびSiを、それぞれABO3100モル部に対しaモル部、bモル部、cモル部含み、前記x、y、m、α、β、a、bおよびcが
