Claims (6)
- 外周面に軸方向に沿ってボール転走溝(10a,10b)が形成されたスプライン軸(1)と、このスプライン軸(1)が貫通する略円筒状に形成され、前記スプライン軸(1)に対して多数のボール(3)を介して組付けられると共に、前記ボール(3)が循環するトラック溝(30)を前記スプライン軸(1)に面した内周面に有するナット部材(2)とから構成され、
前記トラック溝(30)は、スプライン軸(1)のボール転走溝(10a,10b)と対向して形成されて該ボールの負荷通路を形成する負荷直線溝(31)と、この負荷直線溝(31)と平行に設けられると共にスプライン軸(1)の外周面に向けて開放された無負荷直線溝(32)と、これら負荷直線溝(31)と無負荷直線溝(32)とを連通連結してこれらの間でボール(3)を往来させると共に前記スプライン軸(1)の外周面に開放された一対のボール偏向溝(33)とから構成され、
前記ボール偏向溝(33)は、前記スプライン軸(1)のボール転走溝内を転動するボール(3)の進行方向を強制的に変化させ、前記スプライン軸(1)のプロファイルを利用してボール(3)を前記ボール転走溝(10a,10b)から離脱させる一方、離脱したボール(3)を前記スプライン軸(1)の外周面と協働して前記無負荷直線溝(32)に誘導することを特徴とするボールスプライン装置。 - 前記ボール偏向溝(33)内におけるボール(3)の転動軌跡をナット部材(2)の軸方向と垂直な断面に投影した軌跡は、かかるボール偏向溝(33)と対向するスプライン軸(1)のプロファイルと合致していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のボールスプライン装置。
- 前記スプライン軸(1)のボール転走溝(10a,10b)の一側には、前記ナット部材(2)のボール偏向溝(33)と対向する部位にボール誘導面(11)が形成され、このボール誘導面(11)はボール転走溝(10a,10b)から滑らかに連続していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のボールスプライン装置。
- 前記スプライン軸(1)には2条が一対となった偶数条のボール転走溝(10a,10b)が形成されて、各ボール転走溝はその長手方向と垂直な断面における形状がサーキュラアーク状をなしていることを特徴とする請求項3記載のボールスプライン装置。
- 前記ナット部材(2)は、前記負荷直線溝(31)及び無負荷直線溝(32)が形成されたナット本体(4)と、前記ボール偏向溝(33)が形成されると共に前記ナット本体(4)の軸方向の両端部に固定される一対のエンドキャップ(5)とから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のボールスプライン装置。
- 前記ナット部材(2)は単一部材からなり、その内周面に前記トラック溝(30)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のボールスプライン装置。
