Abstract
Description
ビス[3−(カルバゾール−9−イル)フェニル]アミン5.5g、9−(3−ヨードフェニル)カルバゾール4.9g、ターシャリーブトキシナトリウム2.1g、酢酸パラジウム[II]0.1g、脱水トルエン50mlを窒素雰囲気下としたコルベンに仕込んだ。内温71℃でトリターシャリーブチルホスフィン0.4gをシリンジにより加えた。100℃にて10時間反応した後、トルエン300mlを加えて目的物質を抽出し、ろ過した。ろ液を濃縮乾固して粗製物を得た。乾燥させた粗製物をカラムクロマトグラフによって精製して、mTCTA(化合物2)を5.3g(収率56%)得た。1H−NMR分析(図1参照)によって生成物の同定を行った。1H−NMR(CDCl3)分析で以下の36個の水素を検出した。δ(ppm)8.083−8.130ppm(6H)、7.468−7.565ppm(6H)、7.128ppm−7.390ppm(24H)。
ビス[3−(カルバゾール−9−イル)フェニル]アミン1.50g、4、4’−ジブロモビフェニル374mg、ターシャリーブトキシナトリウム370mg、酢酸パラジウム[II]12mg、脱水トルエン10mlを窒素雰囲気下としたコルベンに仕込んだ。内温80度でトリターシャリーブチルフォスフィン42mgをシリンジにより加えた。80℃にて6時間反応した後、トルエン50mlを加えて目的物質を抽出し、ろ過した。ろ液を濃縮乾固して粗製物を得た。乾燥させた粗製物をカラムクロマトグラフによって精製し、化合物3を白色固体として880mg(収率61%)得た。1H−NMR分析(図3参照)によって生成物の同定を行った。1H−NMR(CDCl3)分析で以下の56個の水素を検出した。δ(ppm)8.096−8.122ppm(8H)、7.501−7.643ppm(8H)、7.274ppm−7.472ppm(40H)。
また、アモルファス状態での安定性の指標とされるガラス転移温度は151.3℃であった。
1,3,5−(3−ブロモフェニル)ベンゼン1.00g、カルバゾール1.00g、銅粉末38mg、炭酸カリウム1.10gを窒素雰囲気下としたコルベンに仕込んだ。内温が170度になるまで昇温し20時間反応した後、精製水50mlを加えた。90度で1時間撹拌した後、吸引ろ過によって不溶物を採取した。不溶物をテトラヒドロフランに溶解した後、吸引ろ過を行って銅粉を除去した。ろ液を濃縮乾固して粗製物を得た。乾燥させた粗製物をカラムクロマトグラフによって精製し、化合物4を白色固体として240mg(収率16.7%)得た。1H−NMR分析(図4参照)によって生成物の同定を行った。1H−NMR(CDCl3)分析で以下の39個の水素を検出した。δ(ppm)8.124−8.153ppm(6H)、7.887ppm(6H)、7.568−7.798ppm(9H)、7.155−74590ppm(18H)。また、アモルファス状態の安定性の指標とされるガラス転移温度は124.8℃であった。

化合物4 三重項レベル : 2.69eV
TCTA 三重項レベル : 2.69eV
励起三重項レベルがCBPの2.56eVより高く、励起三重項レベルが2.62eVのFirpicの三重項励起子の閉じ込めには、励起三重項レベルの高い本発明の化合物が適していることがわかった。

Claims (8)
- 有機電界発光素子用の請求項1に記載の化合物。
- 有機電界発光素子の発光層のホスト化合物、あるいは正孔輸送材料として用いられる請求項1に記載の化合物。
- 燐光発光素子の燐光発光体のホスト材料として用いられる請求項1に記載の化合物。
- 少なくとも正孔輸送層、発光層を含む多層構造を有する有機電界発光素子において、該正孔輸送層または該発光層が請求項1に記載の化合物を含有する有機電界発光素子。
- 前記化合物が発光層のホスト材料として含まれる、請求項5に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記発光層のゲスト材料が蛍光発光体または燐光発光体である、請求項6に記載の有機電界発光素子。
- 前記ゲスト材料が燐光発光体である、請求項7に記載の有機電界発光素子。
