Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body high in sensitivity and extremely reduced in deterioration of electric chargeability due to preexposure fatigue by incorporating a polymer of a specified monomer or a copolymer of said monomer and a compound copolymerizable with it in a layer with a charge generating material dispersed in it. CONSTITUTION:The layer dispersing the charge generating material contains the polymer of the monomer or a copolymer of said monomer and a compound copolymerizable with said monomer represented by the formula in which R1 is H or methyl; each of R2 and R3, optionally same or different, is H, optionally substituted alkyl or aryl, and each may combine with each other to form an N-containing hetero ring, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be high in sensitivity and extremely reduced in deterioration of chargeable potential due to preexposure fatigue, and not deteriorated in the chargeable potential even in the repeated cycles of charging and exposure.
