Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce variances of potentials in the light and in the dark at the time of repeating the cycle of electric charging and exposure by incorporating a specified compound in the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic sensitive body obtained by laminating the photosensitive layer on a conductive supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by laminating on the conductive supporting body the photosensitive layer containing as a charge transfer material at least one of the compounds represented by formula I in which each of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl group; each of R3-R6 is H atom. or optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl group; and Ar1 is optionally substituted aryl group, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be high in sensitivity and durability and extremely small in potential variance due to repeated uses, and accordingly, to be used in the wide range of the electrophotography applying fields.
