Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the critical current of a superconductive structure while maintaining flexibility and make it desirable for use in wiring between devices by laminating a plurality of superconductive ceramic layers through metal layers. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive ceramic layer 2a is formed on a metal layer 1a, and a superconductive ceramic layer 2b through a metal layer 1b, a superconductive ceramic layer 2c through a metal layer 1c are laminated on it similarly. The metal layers 1a-1c are formed using Cu, and their thickness is set to be 100mum. The composition of the superconductive ceramic layers 2a-2c is YBa2Cu3O6.8, and their thickness is 10mum. A critical current of 30A can be obtained by putting a thus formed structural body at a liquid nitrogen temperature of 77K. A current density of three times that of an ordinary superconductive structure can thus be obtained, and the critical current is increased by increasing the total number.
